  1. One I've not seen mentioned - Patton. Legendary performance by George C Scott as the lunatic, maverick general, only bettered by G Dubya's misinformed foray into Iraq....
  2. Are you using Nero? If not, get it for P&P here Clicky

  5. Excellent idea, Div. Had to let ma dad know - he was shocked and stunned at the news. Saw the late Mr Purves at Love Street in December and said that he looked well. RIP JP, you will be sorely missed
  6. KS, Before you do anything, have a look at the Sky Broadband forum on the Digital Spy website. Sky's service is improving, but I still wouldn't touch it yet. I was considering, but ended up just going with Wanadoo/Orange with their Broadband Unlimited offering - works out at £5 a month after I upgraded my mobile, and it's unlimited, up to 8Mb broadband, wireless router etc. It'll do me the now, but I'll be keeping Sky on ma radar when I end up movin' house....
  7. You may also be able to see when the files were created using Windows Explorer. That way, you should be able to get the original dates the files were created....
  8. Very simple - you just delete them in iTunes. Select the playlist and press delete. Just done it meself in the last few days.

Still cack. Wouldn't go near it with a bargepole. Whereas I'm looking at the Sky version.....£10 a month, unlimited downloads and up to 16 Mb broadband...more info on Sky's website (and you need to be a Sky subscriber, and the exchange near yer dad's has got to be "Easynet" enabled)... Find out if the exchange is enabled here
  10. SPS, I also registered then, and found out mid-August that Sky had "supposedly" lost the details of people who had registered before the start of August so resubmitted my details. So, it's taken them 5 weeks to get back to me.... Was thinkin' of the top package, but I need some feedback before I take the plunge...
  11. Anyone taken out the Sky Broadband offer?? Registered interest a few weeks ago, and have been given a code to register. However, I know that there are some problems with it - anyone had any experience, and willing to give a few tips? Only issue is, code seems to have a limit of 2 days, and Orange aren't very good at giving out MAC codes (roughly 5 days....)....

  20. Got to agree wi a M*rt*n fan fur a change - Arcade Fire album is amazin'. Mate of mine was raging that he missed their concert - exact words were "i'd shoot all 3 of my kids so that I could have went to that bloody concert". Thought he was a bit harsh...
