  1. Does anyone know the cost to non season-ticket holders to watch the game? I'm thinking the lockdown could prove financially beneficial to the club as more away fans watch the game especially the Old Firm.
  2. I would like to be a wee bit older than you then I wouldn't have to go back in time to experience that photo!
  3. Every time I see an old photo of Paisley I fantasize of walking down that street looking and listening to conversations. What would you rather do if you had the choice, go back in time or go into the future?
  4. He is still of an age where he is still trying to impress and sees his career ahead of him. This is a good opportunity for him.
  5. ...and I'm one of them. I just feel it an integral part of being a Buddie.
  6. Great picture brings back memories. You mean Canal Street station on Causeyside street.
  7. The strip is the most fundamental element of our identity. Players adorn what fans see as the major historic symbol of our community - the individuality of the town of Paisley and its people expressed through the game of football. Black and white stripes have always reflected that esprit de corps but unfortunately over the last number of years the club has failed to abide by our tradition with some obnoxious strip designs. We are forever being reminded that our club is based upon community values - which means interaction between people with shared beliefs and ideals but unfortunately, the club doesn't see it that way when it comes to the strip design. This is basic. The club should have followed community principles and simply asked the fans what design of strip they wanted.
  8. Every Friday night on the top floor - great time. Substitute 'Susans' with 'anyone' 😁
  9. If his lack of pace is true, he may well move to a more central defending position.
  10. Agreed. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/st-mirrens-danny-mullen-predicts-22159085
  11. Good jersey assuming there are stripes on the back but why black pants?? This is too much like Dunfermline and Newcastle. With white shorts I think reflects our identity more but maybe the washing machine doesn't work too well.
  12. We have always been made the scapegoat for their failure against Dundee. I was at the Celtic game and Saints fans did boo certain Saints players for their effort.
  13. Using your analogy, the improvement in curry would have more likely occurred by the exposure in Trip Advisor and not necessarily by a change in management by itself. The present St Mirren management were in place over a year before this illegality was exposed in the press and they failed to respond when asked to do so (The Herald). Historically, unskilled and low-skilled workers have always tended to be ignored and over-looked throughout industry and this is proven by the introduction of income legislation namely, the National Minimum Wage Act in 1998.
  14. It could have continued up until today had it not been discovered.
  15. Being an employer doesn't start and end with our playing staff, there are others who contribute to a functioning operation but were badly treated when it was revealed in 2017 that the club was paying LESS than the minimum wage on a par with KFC in Aberdeen... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/st-mirren-named-shamed-one-9826240
  16. Craig Gordon at 37 is pretty well into the injury phase. Nah.
  17. As I said in another thread; if games are played behind closed doors Buddievision could, or should, provide viewing for ST holders and generate further income by charging non-ST holders to view the game.
  18. Given your concern about cleaning up the forum, maybe when the lockdown is finished you could come over and clean ma hoose too. Looking at your posts, ask your Remora to come with you
  19. TT where is the 'speculation' in my post? I'm asking fellow buddies who they would like to see in the squad.
