  1. Better finishing by them and we would have got a hiding. Darren mcgregor seems to be exempt from criticism, maybe because he can play a bit but his positional sense was dreadful. Kello must be wondering why he agreed to stay for the rest of the season. In saying that some of his saves will surely mean he will get a few tidy offers next season. We have some very gifted players in our squad but no cohesion at all. We are not a kick in the arse off a decent team but no one seems to be able to put it together their full potential. And Derek Adams needs a good boot in the stones for his total over reaction and ending up on the pitch. Passion is admirable but thank god he not associated with us
  2. Lennon thinks we haven't clicked yet! Sorry Danny but it's you that hasn't clicked. His post match interviews used to be mildly entertaining now it's quite sad to hear a very honest man sounding delusional. The worry for me is we do tend to either sack managers when they are being successful or wait until it's too late to sack the ones like danny who have totally lost the place. It's natural to feel sorry for him and no one wants to see anyone out of a job but we need to act while there is still time.
  3. Lennon can now say " at least I got sent to the stand in my last game in charge. See I do care" seriously, that's enough now. Whoever takes over will probably get the new manager bounce from the team for a game or two, then it's all hands to the pump. If we finish in a play off place the momentum is likely to be with the team from the first division as we don't seem to have the stomach for a scrap. I don't care if whoever takes over is a shitfest specialist, we must do everything we can to stay up. Relegation would be a disaster and Danny very rarely makes a good decision in a game where we are under pressure which is sure to be the situation every game from here on in
  4. Wee tommy craigs record as an assistant is not particularly good either( his name came up as tommy drains on predictive text!) we have two likeable guys in charge who between them can't get the right blend on the pitch with a host of talented players to choose from. It's obvious Danny sees himself as some sort of psychological genius, changing the team every week trying to fox the other team when all he does is fox his own players. He should be playing a settled formation and let the other teams worry about us for a change. It turned for me when he changed a winning team which must affect the confidence of a player when he gets dropped from a team which has won the previous week. Many are asking who we could get. Who knows? But sadly danny and tommy don't appear to have the answers to our current situation
  5. If we were to part company with Danny then we should not appoint an up and coming manager now or next season. We are(currently) a premiership club with a talented group of players. We need an experienced, knowledgeable leader. St Mirren would be a challenge for an ambitious manager who knows the game well. Good as some of the lower league candidates may be, they would not be ready to take on a job the size of St Mirren and our present situation. As for names of prospective managers, there would be no shortage of applicants with better credentials than Danny. Who knows, we may attract someone who likes players to pass to someone in their own team which would be a novelty.
  6. I havent heard any mention of bahoken recently. Is he still injured? Has he ran away again? Does he really exist? Is he in contention for Saturday? So many questions
  7. Perhaps now with no players " cup tied" and others coming back to fitness we can concentrate on getting the points need for safety. If that's achieved then we really need to evaluate our club right through every department as, like many others, I'm sick of white knuckling it to survive season after season. With so much ability in our squad it's scandalous that we struggle as badly as we do. Danny is the obvious target for blame but dont the senior players have their say in the tactics and shape of the team? A good manager will not only listen to senior staff, he will actively seek their input. Oh to be a fly on the wall at Dannys team talk
  8. Just read mcnamaras comments in the telegraph " no bad feelings towards St Mirren" or words to that effect. Arrogant tit! I really hope we pump them. If I was Danny I would collate all uniteds comments about us and use them to motivate the team. Just as long as we use them in a positive way and don't get caught up in any shenanigans which united are a cert to use especially against Goodwin. Not a fan of early kick offs as we rarely do well in them. With today's results panning out as they have there is now extra incentive so let's hope that's enough to drive us on and show the same spirit we showed in last seasons league cup COYS
  9. In the same pic the whole lot of them look mental. None of them could master the basic skill of looking into the camera
  10. His favourite newspaper is the Liverpool echo
  11. Phew!.........nearly! Great to see the club getting some world wide exposure. Don't know and don't care what kind of wage oor Eric is on but if he can attract a few hundred extra onto home gates then it'll be worth it for the atmosphere alone( checking flights as we speak)
  12. With a bit of luck he'll score hundreds and thousands
  13. Erzi Cameroon bars ra spearmint chewingummaaa
  14. Going on the other nights game we looked like we were crying out for someone else who can put themselves about instead of relying on easy target Goodwin. Big Josh might well give us that physicality that we are lacking. It's coming to that time in the season where battles are won and lost in the relegation fight. Obviously McGowan, McGinn, Newton etc are gifted players but they are pretty much unprotected because the man put in there to protect them gets a card for rubbing snotters on his sleeve.
  15. Well done that man, that did make me laugh! Wait, hold on, Jesus that might actually be true! This night is getting worse by the minute. Time for bed
  16. Just switched this shite off after the penalty and I'm ragin' .yellow card for Goodwin was shocking and then the penalty? Really? We must not put up with this a minute longer. The club needs to now lodge a formal complaint. We didnt play at all well but the officiating was absolutely unbelievable. I can hardly type I'm so done in. I've seen my fair share of bad decisions against us even with black and White glasses on but come on tonight was beyond anything I've seen for years. In fact it was like playing rangers in the late 70s early eighties. It's a long time since I felt like chucking it due to the blatant cheating and weak minded people in our game
  17. I wasn't at the semi final, however the whole estate knew all about it every time we scored as I found myself out in the back garden before I'd calmed down. My wife and kids generally go out and leave me to it when saints are on tv. By the time they came home I was a blubbering fool and I'm sure they thought I'd had some sort of breakdown while they were out. Does this site archive old posts or are they deleted over time? I would love to read over the posts around the semi and the final cos I'm a sentimental old fool
  18. Kind of glad hearts won today as all this talk of 5-0 to us was beginning to look like a disaster waiting to happen. Any time I've seen them they play with great pace and energy. Stevenson wasn't playing today yet they still took 3 points from Dingwall which is no mean feat. Should be a cracking game with me avoiding hearing the score until settling down to watch it on alba. Our inconsistency is killing us so it's hard to say how this will pan out. Maybe at least one new face in the team?
  19. Oops wrong thread. It would seem that it's not only bahoken who can get a bit lost!
  20. Is bahoken still injured? Like a few others on here I thought he should have been sent packing. However after his sincere explanation for his actions I actually believe this boy could come good for us now he has a point to prove. He could be like a new signing. Let's hope he stays fit to show us what he is capable of.
  21. Has somebody rubbed you up the wrong way?
