  1. If there's a score for pedantry I would just like to say they have all left the club.
  2. My other half is Portuguese. Keeps international tournaments interesting. That and watching England fans clinging onto the vain hope that they are going to have a decent tournament down here in the deep south.
  3. And the winner of the most contrived post of the close season goes to BTB. Thankfully the World Cup is upon us.
  4. Can’t believe you didn’t patent being a divisive figure. Fortune lost there I think [emoji23]
  5. Funnily enough Dundee may be in for Junior Morais who used to play for my local team St Albans City in the National League South and went to Peterborough. Think of the sprinter John Regis he's about that wide. Scored a couple of great goals against Carlisle in the FA Cup for St Albans. Mind you Danny Granger was playing left back so it wasn't that difficult.
  6. Good to hear we are scouting effectively. It's been a long time since.
  7. National League South isn’t the greatest quality generally from experience.
  8. Listened to his interview with Simon Ferry and he's comes across as an intelligent guy with a good degree of humility. Said the two most important assets a manager must have are man management and the ability to recruit well. Hibs supporters on P&B certainly appreciative of his efforts and there's praise for the players he recruited. Sounds like he knows he made a poor decision moving to Rotherham and appreciated his next (which turns out to be St Mirren) job is a huge moment for him. I think he'll do all right.
  9. All the very best to the new manager. The Board can do no more than follow due process and pick the best available in their view. Looking forward to next season.
  10. Really? I thought it was just mildly amusing.
  11. If the launch coincides with the introduction of the new manager that would be pretty good timing I think.
  12. Truro play in the National League South. I've seen a few St Albans City games who finished one place below Truro this season. The standard is pretty poor and St Mirren would take a good few off them. So a bit surprised but he is only 22 so lots of scope to improve. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44315420
  13. I suspect he is not going to recommend St Mirren sign you. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. But you never know. [emoji4]
  14. Well said Mr Rees-Mogg. Hang ‘em High!!
  15. 6 months ago Neilson was at MK Dons plus Goodwin and Hopkin hadn’t achieved a huge amount. Things change and as there’s no apparent standout candidate an interview process looks like it makes sense to me.
  16. What Neilson is saying is no different from what I would have expected our former manager to have asked for from our board this season (and got).
  17. Think you're right. JR and James Fowler have been seen belting out "We're on our way" on more than one occasion weeks ago. Pair of chancers .
  18. Oddschecker has Goodie and Neilson at 4/1 then Kennedy from nowhere at 6/1. Best of the rest at 16/1. Interesting indeed.
  19. It's all that Jack Ross's fault you know. I suspect he sabotaged the North Korean peace talks too .
  20. BBC confirm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44238168
  21. Hopkin preferred candidate according to this https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-hopkin-st-mirrens-no1-12592502
  22. Oh bollocks! Since the turn of the year he’s won us the league at canter, helped a Championship player get into the Scotland squad and won the manager of the year. Of course he’s raised his profile and got a salary rise out of it. Agree with the last two sentences right enough and am sure the Board have been alive to that for months.
