Yes we did try but they were put down the far end of the west stand like some sort of naughty corner! I believe if they are in the thick of the action & their mates can join them ( instead of having tickets spread out throughout the stadium) then it has a decent chance of creating atmosphere. Also , as i said previously. people nearby are more likely to join in with singing if the singing is happening closer to them. Good luck to the guys & hope the club do everything in their power to help out. Only one thing though, i have noticed at away games some issues with the occasional wee idiot whos had one babycham too many & starts standing on & jumping on chairs , hammering the back wall etc, they are just a bloody nuisance . The group has to police itself & make sure these wee numpties dont spoil it for everyone else.

Why not have each moaning minnie sitting between two allotted happy clappers ? Each time a moan was uttered , the clappers would immediately spring into action with a quick "C`mon Saints" or a short burst of OWTS. Alternatively , re-route the mains supply from the OAP section to issue a quick corrective current each time the moaner tries to slip in a fly "Aww FFS Cheesy !"

I received this e-mail today , thought Shull might be interested in attending. SoS Public meeting Tue 7th Oct, to discuss future fan action Tuesday 7th October 7pm. Grovsner Hotel Gt Western Rd Glasgow. Public meeting for all fans concerned with recent events at our club and who wish to explore possible actions available to the fans. We have one guest speaker confirmed so far and the meeting will include a Q&A session Craig Edit/Delete Message I was chucked out of follow follow for baiting the Orcs , but they still send e-mails to my old address !

I think there are as many boo boys away as there are at home . The problem as i see it is : At away matches, the Singing & chanting section of our support can congregate together because the ticket for a specific seat rule is usually ignored (thank christ !) When they start , the folk on the fringes will also join in to support the team. The moaning minnies are still there but tend to be drowned out by the constant support from the noisy beer filled section. At home, those same noisy fans are split up into small groups because of the season ticket holder seating allocations. When one small group of five to ten start singing ,it doesnt have the same "c`mon everyone" effect as a large group away from home, therefore those fringe fans are less likely to shout & sing giving more dead air for the Knobends to be heard. Same knobends, simply more time & opportunities to be heard. Remember, the atmosphere at Love street died when we went from a season ticket to get in to a season ticket for a specific seat.
