I think we as a support need to drop the obsession with players/managers being Old Firm fans. Like it or not they're the two biggest clubs in the country and to expect a proportion of people involved in Scottish football not to have some affiliation to either of them is pretty naive. I could give a feck who manages or plays for us ultimately if they put together a decent squad of players and get us winning games.

I think this appointment will be as underwhelming as Teale.Anyone who is interviewed will be told that they won't get the tools to do the job. Bottom line, we're fecked till someone takes over the club.

The season we had Thommo, Teale, Wee Nige, Tess etc was our best chance of achieving something in the league and we still couldn't.Fast forward to now, all have gone bar Thommo who is pretty much done. I think it'll be a good few years before we can challenge for promotion, until the club is sold I think we'll be a bottom half Championship club.

Davidson would be excellent but I very much doubt he'd leave the fakes.

I think we'll go for a steady the ship type older manager who'll come in and have us playing very defensive football and shitfest it till the end of the season to avoid relegation.It won't be pretty but it's what we need.

I listened to his(Ian's) interview on Sportsound last week and he came across very well.I think he'd be a gamble though and too big a gamble at this stage. We need to be realistic though, we're an even less attractive option for prospective managers than we were when Murray was appointed.

Looks like Mehmet has turned into some player since he left us. I certainly don't remember him doing anything to prompt quite such a response as this. I know, as when he played for us I actually still went to all our games and gave a feck. I had the 'pleasure' of seeing Coughlin's ill fated tenure and even worse was our spell under Jimmy Bone in my opinion but this current spell is the worst I've seen. I, like many others thought that Murray was a good shout for the job but it's been a disaster with no exceptions. He needs to go ASAP.

I was actually thinking about trailing through but that's made my decision.
