I wouldn't rely on your predictions for the lottery numbers then....................... Our two first team signings so far have the potential to be very good acquisitions IMO. Harkins will be a standout and could be the creative spark we were missing last year. Cornell seems to be very highly rated and he will be no worse that Samson. Apart from that we've signed two U-20 squad players, both of whom look to have a decent pedigree. Other than that we've re-signed, Thommo, Teale and McGowan, who any team bar the green bigots, would have as first team regulars. So, so far, your "prediction" that we'd be signing a lesser quality of player is totally unproven. Also Guy and Parkin were signed very early on in the transfer window last season and neither were really that good. Maybe the manager has learned from that and is waiting to take the pick of better players that will inevitably be available within the next month and a half. So why not stop wasting your energy whining and go out and do something positive in the lovely summer weather. I'm sure you'll have a whole season ahead of you to whine to your hearts content.

I was just about to post this as I travel on it every day, when I'm at work. It was totally resurfaced about 3 to 4 years ago and now large sections of tarmac have broken off the surface. With the speed some of the arseholes travel at on that road, someone is going to hit one of these sections on a corner and end up in one of the fields. I know the road suffers from a lot of surface water, but the company that resurfaced it should have factored this into their resurfacing and they should be brought to task.

I found Barolo Grill overpriced and not as good as other Italian restaurants I've eaten in TBH. I've been to La Pulcinella the last couple of times and it was very good. The Italian Kitchen was a favourite too, but I've not been there in years. Just spent a week in Riva Del Garda, so I'm all "Italianed" out at the moment. Although the pizzas there were top notch.

Other than Indian Cuisine Scene and possibly La Mesa, I wouldn't go anywhere outwith Glasgow for a decent meal. Most certainly if it's an Italian meal I was after.

I think most of St.J's signings are ones that I'd be disappointed in if we'd signed them. Wotherspoon is the only one that might be decent as he'll benefit from being away from Hibs and he's not as good as most of our current midfield. Rather have quality than quantity.
