  1. Seems that your mind was already made up before starting the thread, so no matter what anyone says it will not change your mind about attending the game. It's a shame you feel that way but I can totally relate to your situation as I'm a season ticket holder and on some occasions I can't be bothered attending and don't but it's Morton. Ps one last attempt to sell you the game. If you are sitting in the warmth of your house watching it on the tv then the other half may watch the game with you. Do they know the offside rule?
  2. Get yourself into the Bull Inn before the game and I will buy you a pint, ourselves and fellow saints fans can talk of the reasons why we support our club, the good and the bad memories of being a saints fan. No doubt when we talk of the bad memories we will laugh and agree that it has made us stronger and more determined to enjoy the good times a saints fan. Everyone can then head to the game and help create an atmosphere that the players can use to beat the unwashed as we sing our merry hearts out and help the team kick start their season and start to climb the league. In a few weeks time you will think back about what has been the best game you have attended this calendar year (it may not be the best) but at least you can say I was thereon the 19/11/2015 before you laugh or cry. 3. One of your better responses Shull, keep up the good work

    Paris

absolutely shocking, thoughts are with the families of all those affected.
  5. It was mentioned a while back about clubs not being able to sack managers until the transfer window(s). This way new managers get to manage clubs for half the season, gain some experience and not the regular 30 mins as is the case at Leeds.
  6. We are only better together when it suits the Tories
  7. That looks almost impossible to achieve
  8. He escaped to the South Pool, where aliens helped him escape to the moon, he then went under witness protection and moved to Mars. It is a programme I do intend to try a watch, should be good
  9. Totally forgot all about Gow, yeah he can leave just now of he wants. Personally I don't think anyone will leave unless it's by mutual consent, don't think we can afford to pay any player(s) off.
  10. If as you say we are sitting in a play off position I can't see the board spending much, they will believe that what they set out to do is working. Possibly they might try and get another player or two in on loan, that way keeping our expenditure to a minimum. Only time will tell though.
  11. Seen this on the BBC news website, made me laugh: Some woman out hunting with her dog (Trigger) and the dog shoots her. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-34644333
  12. Liking it, that surely has to be our longest undefeated streak
  13. Think you have mentioned most of the highlights, for me the start of the 89-90 season, beating Rangers at Ibrox and then beating Celtic at love St a few weeks later. Going to games at love st when I was a wee boy with my mates standing behind the goals and then as we got older progressing to the northbank, learning the songs and starting songs during the games. Meeting lots of other fans who were just as passionate about St.Mirren as I was back then. Watching an almost endless list of talent being produced or nurtured by the club. Too many to mention. Ps Happy Birthday Northstbuddie
  14. I can confidently say that I will be washing my hair
  15. Seen this on the BBC and I was in stitches. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-34537841 I don't think he meant any harm but the look of determination on Boris's face to get past the wee chap is priceless.
  16. Just seen the stats, have to say I'm pretty shocked with that
  17. Has it not been that price when we played their other half the last few seasons. I'm sure that saints fan then got £5 of the next home game as long as they produced the match ticket when purchasing their ticket for the next game. I do agree though, £25 is shocking
  18. Major fail, did read earlier that apparently certain blocks would still be standing approx 6 storey's high and would be demolished mechanically. Wouldn't want to be the engineers sent into to clear the dud explosives
  19. Done, goodluck with reaching your target
  20. wtf! only broken bones according to the report! God knows what the driver was doing?
  21. Gavin Hastings played for the Scottish Claymores for 1 season Deion Sanders is the baseball player that I can remember
  22. 2nd half on Saturday, okay, Kelly made the block but it came off his sock and went out for a corner
  23. In the early 80's we played with black shorts, decent cup runs and qualified for Europe but I do agree with you lately it does appear to be a jinx, lol
  24. Arthurlie and Johnstone Burgh still have a wee bit to do before the tide starts to turn.
