  1. "Thank you for that Lionel......Ermmmm... Could someone give Cristiano a shout, it's his turn now...."
  2. Somebody told them The Rangers were going bust and they didn't want to believe it........ Ah right ,what about Ra Sellick....someone else told them Sellick were European Minnows/Nonentities so where to now ????? OK then.....what shit news have we got about the Diddy Clubs.........Cue Stevenson story.....
  3. I wonder if he had a Contract and just walked ,or the now common "Rolling Contract" which allows both parties to chuck it without any comeback. He can't really sign a contract, if indeed he had, then walk away because he's been Tapped and not expect his Employers to be miffed. Maybe after another gubbing has just spat the dummy and decided to walk away in the hope he can get a better gig elsewhere. I don't know if he was on a contract, anybody know..?????
  4. Like so many before him who have worn the Stripes........All the Best for the Future.
  5. After the good stuff he has done for Alloa I find it strange he has walked......It might not be Hearts but maybe he has more morals than I am giving him credit for.
  6. You must be kidding Tony...We have won away from home, scored three, scooped up three points and all without apparently doing too much in the second half. Imagine what we will be like at full pelt !!!! You canny have it both ways ,you were predicting we would get gubbed. Give them some credit.
  7. Agreed Lex, nobody really expecting anything from this one, so why not go for it with a nothing to lose attitude.......Works for me.
  8. Rangers go bust ,again, and put back a division or two and Jambos in Championship,,,,Sorted , no clashes between the "Big" clubs.
  9. Couldn't we use someone with the height advantage of Mr Pugh.........
  10. Perhaps Master McGowan will keep him right on that score..........
  11. Shame...RR and Babcock were always synonymous with quality back in the day. It just seems to be constant erosion of this type of workplace. I remember the Apprentices I used to meet at College telling of the kit and training they used to get. Always top notch (Hope they were not fibbing...) Just another hit in the Engineering game. Sad news indeed. I wish everyone had the choices I had when I left school, I was no great scholar but Apprenticeships were plentiful when I left St Mirins (Where else ??) in '73. P.S. I retire nine years yesterday, or 90 more trips Offshore, I'm not counting.....
  12. Let's be honest here, Big Yards was never the quickest.............
  13. That indeed is a line up to be waiting for you as you jump off the nearest very high bridge......
  14. Thanks BJB, nice to see some positive posting on this good news. Great boost for Saturday with a new face onboard.
  15. Let's be honest, the moaners were a stick on to be at it ,they were at it even before we made a signing.
  16. I take it you have seen Gregg play in the flesh many many times to form such a considered opinion............... BTW Gregg ...Welcome to Saint Mirren.................But FFS stay away from this Wasps Nest...
  17. There you have it...Limited resources is what we have and we need to get used to it. Anybody that thinks we can compete with County in buying players is deluded .Roy McGregor has consistently forked out for Adams to strengthen over the seasons leading to and in the Top League. Good man backing his Club. We cannot hope to compete with someone who has a large personal fortune to help out his Club. Fwiw the players should have a long look at themselves, and not for the first time this season, after that stinker at Perth. For me the guys out on the Park have to cut out the bloomers and step it up. Let's see if they can, starting at Easter Road this week. I hope so.
  18. No......Definitely not, Many years ago I worked with the One that has "Offshore" in his description. It's not the one having a bad day at the Forum.
  19. My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North............... Always liked that line......
  20. You will not believe this one...............VERY well known Poster. I'll give you all a clue.........He may have left the Building........
  21. You cannot be serious..... We are short in numbers and most definitely need more personnel. No loan players , no League Cup. The same system that would seem to have helped young Naismith after his wee spell away. Don't understand your reasoning in that post.
  22. And you know this for sure Gordon ...???? I also mentioned in the recent past that he was the type of CB we need. Bobby would have been a top player for many years.
  23. He will probably be OK for Tomorrow if he gets through todays game without injury.......
