A bit of topic, but here is a good little fact, the actor Gordon Jackson who stared in the great escape worked in an engineering company in Hillington during World War Two so wasn’t available for conscription.

To be honest after 3 minutes and 25 seconds on Sunday I was absolutely delighted that both stands were full of Sevco supporters!

I had a skim through the posts and stand by my original comment, would Stuart Gilmour or Tony have behaved like this? I think we know the answer. One of the things that a lot of posters haven’t picked up on is the fact that he was in charge of RBS while some of these posts were published!! That really makes me think that Hubris played a big part. I suppose you need to ask yourself a couple of questions: if the chairman of Rangers or Celtic or Hearts, Hibs had posted a comment on Twitter about Stmirren fans polluting the area by there very existence, would you expect them to resign? Would these comments enhance that clubs standing in Scottish football?

Yet another PR disaster for the club. I can’t imagine Stewart Gilmour or Tony ever behaving like Mr Needham.

This guy’s credibility is evaporating by the hour. Was he not acutely aware of his responsibilities when he was the boss of RBS then?

Was he not head of RBS ? I would of thought that any comment that could offend bank customers would a very risky pastime. Starting to wonder about this guy’s credibility.

Have to agree with slash on this one. However I do hope that the tweets were not from Johns account as it would be another PR nightmare given that we are in partnership with a charity that is trying to help young people.
