I will tell you why! We have had successive BOD's who were full of there own importance, and not many Managers who would stand up to them and basically tell them what was required and push forward. Willie Cuningham started the youth development program before he had to step down due to his wife's poor health. He then told Willie Todd who his predecessor should be ....... Sir Alex Ferguson. For once the BOD listen, appointed Ferguson who started to put things together and by the following season we were a balanced team. Then our BOD turn turtle ...... sacked him and claimed he was going to Aberdeen anyway! Our past and present BOD's have failed many times to listen. They don't even have time for the fans anymore ...... They know it all! Sorry but we have had too many failings ......... very little success. Only time will tell if our great team survives this crisis. I sincerely hope so, because if not, then we won't have a team to support.

Billy Davies should be our P1 appointment. The only negative I see is Davies distances himself from the fans. Murray made that mistake and with pish poor performances cost him his job. I do believe Davies can turn us around within a few weeks, and get us moving up the league in the right direction. The next few weeks is going to be one of the biggest tests the BOD that they have ever faced. Get it wrong again and we will implode. The only thing we can do is get right behind the New Manager when appointed. Not too sure we would have that commitment if if was Mr. Barry Ferguson ........ Time will tell .... Let's take Andy Murdoch for one, Playing for Everton's boys club, local lad, fantastic prospect, watched by Longwell ...... not good enough not our style of player ........ Then signed up by Rangers goes onto play in the first team. Albeit he is out on loan this season to Cowdenbeath but he could have easily have been on St. Mirren's books well before the Govan team came calling.

David Longwell should have been shown the door at least 3 season ago. The amount of talent that's passed under his nose and he couldn't see it is unbelievable. Does he have a life long contract? or is he so far up Gilmour's arse that the only thing you can see is the studs of his boots? Hate to see some one out a job, but if Murray is still in charge by the time I get back from the dark side then God help us. Gus would at least give us some fight because what I witnessed so far this season is a team with no leadership, no heart and certainly no BALLS! ...... Taxi for Murray and I'll pay.

Thanks to Mr. Murray I had another dreadful night to experience stuck out here in the dark side of the world. The only benefit I get is simple ........... I wasn't there to witness another shocking display. So where do we go from here apart from heading down to another lower division. There is something seriously wrong with our club and we need to get it sorted out NOW! I honestly thought we would be in the top three at this moment in time, good crows, entertaining football, enjoying the experience ............. but NAW! we are in the FCUKIN bottom three, playing pish, looks like the Manager has lost the plot and we have to except this ....... time to act and do it now ...............

Andy Murdoch played with Everton's boys club and should have been on Saints radar as he was a total stand out in that team. Rangers signed him and the rest is history. So much for our scouting system! ......Paisley lad as well I had a chat with Callum Gallagher last week who is a good mate of Andy Murdoch as they went through the ranks together at Ibrox. He was even surprised that he had gone to Cowdenbeath rather than a team on the Championship. Worth keeping an eye on his progress as I think he might come available next season .........

Excellent Chris, I've managed to get a number of Saints tops handed out to the Nationals here in Nigeria especially when working in Port Harcourt. Last season strip just wasn't an option ..............no way was I even considering buying the top, even when it went on sale at the end of the season I never bought any to hand out. No doubt once I get the new top I will be getting requests from the locals to bring some over. Beats seeing them in various English league teams football strips and of course the old firm tops. The Nationals have actually take an interest in the Buddies .............. bit of a disaster last season but they still wear the B&W stripes with pride.

Just going to use this thread ................ Welcome aboard Callum, ............ now all you need to do is stick one in the net against your former employers on Friday and you will get off to a flyer as a true Saint.
