  1. Knowing our luck, Ian Murray will get the Alloa gig and duly thump us next week on the way to keeping the Wasps up.
  2. Can't complain about the result. Embarrassingly one-sided from the start. Could've been a goal down within seconds of the kick-off at IPox...yet again. However, the real worry is to have been comprehensively outplayed but only one goal down and after 75 plus mins and then concede another 3 in the last 15 minutes. Proof that the team remains woefully unfit or just a case of not being up for the fight? Either way it's an indictment of the Murray/Miller partnership. Utterly hopeless.
  3. A decent bid for any other side will see Mallan gone in January. It's the Gilmour way....
  4. Some clearance indeed... But for the rest of the game he was pretty ineffective. Mind you, that could be levelled at most of our defenders.
  5. He should be gone after that performance but we know the form. The BoD will remain in denial until it's all but too late. They need to be gone also, but as no one appears to want the club, we are stuck with them and the decline will continue.
  6. The defence looks nervous every time the ball goes near Clangers.
  7. Well, against my better judgement, I bought all the pish about supporting my team in its hour of need. Sorry, but not again this season. It was an embarrassment. Particularly in the 2nd half. Completely outplayed by Morton, a team littered with St Mirren cast-offs. Devoid of ideas and basic technique, our players couldn't even match them for fitness. We remain 12 Pts adrift of them and for the life of me I can't see how a BoD with any sense of strategy can justify retaining Murray. I may think about turning up for the relegation play-off games because that's all I see coming over the horizon. Desperate stuff.
  8. Back to the Future. Our very own Marty McFly....Couldnae make this stuff up. Frightened to look at the papers or social media to see what mad money saving scheme the club comes up with next.
  9. Thommo would off his head to take the job in the current circumstances. Not convinced his future lies in management anyway...
  10. Beat at home again. You get no points for playing well and losing. Clearly the 'diddy team' mentality remains when we continue to praise a side that loses to one of the Old Scum just because the score was 'respectable'.
  11. Forget the individual decisions and look at the bigger picture. World Rugby is dominated and over influenced by the Southern Hemisphere countries. Every step is taken that will guarantee NZ, Oz and SA as semi-finalists. Only England are tolerated in this club and their early exit, alongside the shock of the Japan v SA result, all but ensured that strings would be pulled in the latter stages of the competition to ensure a 'suitable' final for TV audiences. I would love Argentina to win the semi-final against Oz....but they won't. More dubious decisions await.
  12. Thommo and Teale signed for the club because the timing was right for both. Thommo's desire to settle back home and play for his own team, Teale out of contract and in need of a club full stop. Nothing to do with Danny Lennon.
  13. Danny deserved his applause and thanks for that wonderful cup run.....but people need to remember that he was in charge when the fit began to set in. Also, let's not forget his disastrous transfer dealings in that last season. That was the thing that ultimately done for him.
  14. No doubt Gilmour will try and justify the choice of Murray as manager. Well, before he does so I hope he remembers that he was sitting at GHR with minutes to go, praying that we held on for a point against....Alloa. He needs to share the same taxi with Murray.
  15. Phew. They might open up a bit now in search of an equaliser and we get some more space behind their defence. A second goal would be a god send.
  16. If Alloa sucker punch us here I hope Mr Murray does the decent thing at steps aside.
  17. Well, on the basis of that 45 mins there can be no arguments us being in a false position in the table. This is a relegation six pointer yet Murray and Co don't seem to get it.
  18. Yes....but we won't. Sticking with the 5th place finish I predicted at the start of the season.
  19. The annual 'we're better than everybody' borefest. I would have more respect for the man if he put his wealth behind a football club or two back in his native Ireland. But, no, no better to be just another glory hunter. Just a thought, he's such a diehard but how many times does he show up for games at the likes of Perth or Inverness? No personal benefit in being seen there...only interested in showing face at the likes of the San Siro or Old Trafford.
  20. Way too late in trying to rewrite history. A simple interpretation could be that he had a petted lip over what was on offer and responded by downing tools when the club needed him most last season.
  21. Battling point. Much more like it. Now sort out the dreadful home form.....
