  1. Central midfield options: McGinn Willock McShane Flynn - majority of games played for us out wide Magennis - played half his games for us out wide McPherson - league starts 0 Erhahon - league starts 1 Kirkpatrick - league starts 1. (injured) I don't think we were particularly overflowing with serious central midfield options, given 3 of them have 2 league starts for us between them, none at this level, and two of the others have been used out wide more often than not. Bringing in a central midfield option who can play attacking or defensive mid and who has 85 Premiership games under his belt seems a sensible move. The fact that we have little width, apart from the two centre mids who mostly play wide, is another issue. Welcome to the club Ryan - try not to drown in the positivity of the fans, and the warmth of their welcome...
  2. You can put forward as much speculation as you like, the fact is there's no basis for it in reality. Hence, the source is your mind...
  3. Jeez - can the forum police put a restraining order on old billy goat here. Getting weirder by the minute.
  4. To be clear again billy, you'll need to get someone else to bite you - I'm not interested...
  5. Billy - you're not my type. Take the hint luv...
  6. Far better to be proven right than for the team to do well - did you miss the memo?
  7. Traces of common sense is starting to filter through to an extent, which is most welcome...
  8. So is not giving personal abuse the equivalent of support?
  9. Fuds like you who are incapable of patience deserve all they get.
  10. I don't really care. The level of support these new players have been given is pathetic.
  11. If the attitude of our fans to adversity is what I'm seeing and hearing, we deserve everything we get. If players are deciding they don't fancy the manager and are performing with less than 100% commitment due to this, they can go as far as I'm concerned. Seems we're excusing players who are performing in a less than professional way, as if they're wee boys rather than grown men who are paid well to represent this club. I support this club, not individuals. I don't personally know any of the players - or the manager - so I speak without bias on their performances, without giving them excuses that I refuse to give to others. I'm personally sick and tired of this season already. I'll go and support the team every week as usual but the way we've turned on the manager and a lot of new, young players is pathetic, and as stated, we deserve everything we get. With that, I'm giving this place a miss for a while.
  12. I'm one of the families kicked out. I'm not that bothered. Knew the deal when I got the tickets, not desperate to be in that atmosphere with my kids so will likely go myself in the west stand.
  13. Can he average more than Mullen's goal a game in the Premiership this season?
  14. I stopped using Newsnow about a decade ago when social media became the place to go for news as it happens, before it goes to "print" as it were. Still a good resource if you're wanting a rundown on what's been in the news over the past few hours or days though.
  15. Don't you dare try to get in the way of the negativity now...
  16. They're probably looking at the sale of tickets to Celtic, the season tickets in the West and Main Stands, and the number of season ticket holders in the Family Stand who have currently bought a reduced price ticket, and forecasting that there will be no spare tickets. There isn't a system where they can forsee your future whereabouts... They're also attempting to hype the game to try to get as many tickets as possible sold.
  17. Common sense - it'll never catch on...
  18. You're a bore, and you make everyone cringe. Never change - we all need someone to remind us we're not that bad...
  19. Because it's a cracking goal he scored which had been tweeted by the SPFL official twitter account? You really take conspiracy theories to a whole new level...
  20. "All exclusive", or "self-catering" as we used to call it...
  21. Glad you're not repeating yourself - especially since you're wrong. In other news, people will do whatever they like. If it's not to your liking - tough...
  22. Time to get behind the manager and all his new signings, as well as those who starred for us last season. Nobody has hit the heights in the last couple of games, but Saturday is a chance to put that right with a good performance, and three points to open up a wee gap between us and Livi, and possibly an even bigger one between us and Dundee and Motherwell.
