  1. Josh Tudd I believe, scored 4 in 16 games this season I think
  2. Stay off the commercial channels Shull, PRS charge for listening to adverts because the play "recorded" music..............fortunately your TV Licence covers you for 5Live
  3. I think the pass was to Irvine who inexplicably decided to stop running as we were potentially breaking from defence
  4. Beaches are fantastic IoBS and has a cracking Music Festival in July which would probably be right up your street if your postings are anything to go by. My brother lives in Tobermory and Café Fish is indeed a splendid place to eat..........personal preferences are EE-Usk (on the North Pier) or The Waterfront Fishhouse (on the Railway Pier) in Oban.
  5. The first picture is taken from the door of our cottage on Tiree looking West towards Scarinish, the second is looking East across Gott Bay also on Tiree.
  6. They are also sniffing about Lawrence Shankland from what I've heard down here.
  7. I can see some merit in this although forming one committee from what's existing would be quite interesting.............any ideas on how to take that process forward as there may be SMiSA members that aren't members of 1877 Club and vice-versa?
  8. I believe it's a song about Manchester that's been adopted elsewhere
  9. I guess if he's got your son's mobile number then either you, or your son, know who he is............if he has truly threatened your son, report him and rightly let the appropriate authorities deal with any lowlife who would behave in such a manner
  10. That was probably why I asked you to elaborate on "factions"...... I've already given you what I thought with regard to the board and management team and why I asked if it was more about SMiSA and the Fans Council. If by "club" you mean internally I think just now that for the majority they are pulling in the same direction, if by "club" you mean including externally (SMiSA, Fans Council, BAWA Members, Fans in General) I'd be surprised if they are all ever going to pull in the same direction at the same time. You only have to look at committee members on both SMiSA and Fans Council taking wipes, or being defensive, on here to see that and that's not having a dig at anybody just an overall observation.
  11. I definitely agree with the bits in bold. I'm not too sure though why you'd want to open a can of worms re factions and not then want to elaborate on it otherwise you could be seen to be mischief making yourself.
  12. Stuart, could you elaborate a wee bit on what was meant by factions..........the board has only fairly recently been put together and consists of "hand-picked" members and one "co-opted" member elected by the membership of SMiSA, therefor you'd hope that they would be working in some kind of harmony. The management team are recently appointed and hopefully starting to turn things round so again you'd hope that they were pulling in a positive direction. Was the suggestion of senior figures dividing into factions or more of a SMiSA want this, the Fans Council want that and there is a bit of sniping going on. Is it possible that your "ITK" guy was mischief making??
  13. Nope, not a source..........a friend that I speak to three or four times a week about many things and most of them not St Mirren related. Keep fumbling away in the dark LPM
  14. Nope...............swing and a miss!! They said it to me in a conversation we had discussing the game, we do it every week.
  15. I couldn't agree more, it's the accusation that the club have deliberately "leaked" ( a very deliberate action) info as opposed to someone mentioning something. As it goes, I also heard the same thing from someone very involved at the club but it was relayed because the person was angry and frustrated by what had happened. That is very different from "leaking" information.
  16. This may, or may not, be only Div's opinion. From what I've seen, and I may well be wrong, Div was suggesting a player had told him about it ...........that is way different from a "club leak". Maybe he'll be good enough to confirm?? Meanwhile just you continue making stuff up to suit your agenda
  17. So for confirmation, the club hasn't leaked anything, Div has posted on here something a player told him backed up (loosely) by some photos. Just more of your agenda-led, conspiracy theory, made up nonsense.
  18. Admittedly I've not seen or heard all the reports and unfortunately was unable to attend on Saturday to see it first hand............could you point me in the direction of the leaked story as I'd like to read/hear the clubs side of it. Thanks in advance
  19. I'm afraid, that for me, the new regime are equally as culpable. Due Diligence is what it is and once the new owners take over they become responsible (there are clauses available "within contract" that can cover certain eventualities, whether they were in this particular contract I don't know). If there was an on-going problem with the USH then the owners, both old and new, would know because the Groundsman and Groundstaff would have known. Now isn't the time for hand-wringing and blaming, it's the time for proper planning and taking appropriate action.
  20. There is no way that, until today, the new board didn't know if there was an underlying, ongoing problem with the USH. The pitch is the responsibility of the Groundsman and Groundstaff and for certain, if it is/was, an existing issue they'd certainly know/have known about it.
  21. I think you better let your client know he's wasting time and money Bud...........................LPM and Stuart Dickson say it'll never work and is just silly, desperate and everyone trying it will just become a laughing stock!!
  22. Over the past few years, with the very odd exception, our "January" signings have made no real difference and it is a notoriously difficult time to sign players. Those signings have been made through contacts, agents etc............we'll still be approaching these usual suspects but also giving some, who may not come through the usual sources, a chance to make contact and see what develops. Should we not look at players playing in organised trial matches because they haven't come through our contacts etc??
  23. My best Bud is a St Mirren fan living in Carfin so not too far away..... I was born in Glasgow, live in Inverkip and have a business in Greenock. Walking down to the local shops on the Monday morning after winning the League Cup in 2013 and being congratulated on our win by just about everyone I passed, in enemy territory, was brilliant and quite heart-warming!!
  24. Thanks Buddiecat, a previous poster appeared to be looking to make mischief out of the situation and I was hoping that nothing untoward was happening, glad to hear it's not. With regards to alarm call-outs I'm with you.........I've got my own business and it has other key holders but I always feel it's my business and therefore my responsibility to attend when possible.
