  1. Weren't you whining about personal abuse from Poz last week?
  2. I dislike the negative stuff as much as the majority of folk on here. But this is just bizarre.
  3. To be fair. We (as a club) do know whether he's signing or not. The fanbase in general doesn't though. ;)
  4. Well, he did say there would be signing news today and he was right! He didn't explicitly say three would be signing today, only that they could potentially sign today.
  5. Ah, yes. Finer points being 'ye've no gave me an answer after 20 minutes....f**k OFF!'
  6. By earning his corn, I assume you mean picking it out of your shite. Anyway, quite an achievement if true, I've heard smackheads only really shit fizzy water.
  7. Nothing from the club yet as they are too busy focusing their energies on completion of other deals. At least that's what my eternally optimistic mind says.
  8. Still nothing official. Hopefully holding off on a press release as there will be at least another one to announce.
  9. They do shut for two weeks every summer but it was last month.
  10. I like him. He's fast, direct and skillful. He's undoubtedly suffered from playing alongside Gow but he m ought have had one last night Had McMullan not taken it off his toe.
  11. To be fair, if you're anything like the personas you portray on here, you are both wankers.
  12. Is Cuddihy a natural right back? He certainly was never mentioned on here as possible cover all through pre-season. I don't know if Rooney would have accepted a development deal. If you go on the guy who works with him though, he would have considered it and that's what I said.
  13. Pish! I was about 15 yards away and you could hear Goodwin smack the guy!
  14. Langfield must start on Friday. No offence to Ridgers but aside from the two brilliant stops, Langfield was vocal, had good command of the box and was constantly reassuring the team in front of him. Even at the penalty, he clearly shouted three times that there were two unmarked men hovering in front of him before Goodwin made the foul. He was constantly trying toake his defence more aware and we need exactly that. Ridgers is painfully quiet.
  15. It undoubtedly WAS a bad decision. Certainly many posters on here were decrying the lack of competent cover at right back if Naisy did get injured or suspended. Rooney would have allegedly considered an U20 deal a means to getting his foot in the door at a full time club if it was offered to him and could have therefore fit the bill as backup in terms of the U20 squad.
  16. Baird and Webster first choice,Kelly to left back for me.
  17. Whilst I agree about Webster understandably looking to ply his trade in the top league, it's time we stopped being such a soft touch. The contract has presumably been on the table for a few days now. Give him until the end of the week to make a decision and if none is forthcoming, take it away, thank him for his time and move on. We've a little under two weeks to secure our targets and I really, really hope we have a contingency plan if the main targets don't come up trumps. No matter how many times managers change and personnel change, there is always a constant in that we always seem to be nice, cuddly St. Mirren.
  18. He had a honking first half hour last night but I suppose it's partly to be expected when you've played so little football. He grew into the game after that though.
  19. He had the ball knocked off his toe last night from 8 yards out by his own team mate. I'm willing to give him more of a shout. He improved vastly on Saturday when he was alongside Thompson rather than Gow.
  20. He must start on Friday night. There isn't a leader on the park and Goodwin is the one natural leader we do have. Yes, he's perhaps a tad overcritical of the youngsters at times but you can rest assured, he'd be talking some of them through that match yesterday.
  21. In what way? He's had a far more successful career than Gow and aside from a lot of injuries at Rangers, he's always been a solid and reliable presence in relatively successful defences. Gow, on the other hand, is a shitehawk.
  22. I'm struggling to see a footballer in there at all. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and find positives about him but there is a distinct lack of basic ability there.
  23. So we haven't been patently talking to him for several weeks despite his family, his team mates and indeed himself on twitter suggesting otherwise?
  24. Again. One decent result where they rode their luck doesn't mean they are world beaters or indeed, better than us. I am still happily convinced we will be at least three places ahead of Dumbarton by the end of the season, in spite of your bleating. Our manager isn't dragging his feet. He claimed that certain deals would be difficult to conclude before the last week in August. He has been completely transparent about this from the off so I don't understand any criticism being levelled at him in this regard. He's willing to wait for the exact people he wants in and won't compromise! Fair enough, we may toil through the month but I'm happy that long term, we're going to be in better nick than we were for the Premiership campaign last season.
