  1. He's suffering from DVT in his legs. There's really not a lot you can do with regards to that. He suffered from it in his shoulder a few years back so it's just massively unlucky by sounds of things.
  2. Rumours of us moving for McCrorie of Rangers on loan. Hopefully not, give Urminsky his chance until the end of the window. If he's not good enough, make a move for a keeper in the last week or so but surely after more than two years here he's earned a shot at being first choice.
  3. 350 sold by 4pm yesterday and none of sizes had sold out by that point so must have been 400-500 range by end of day.
  4. I didn't take that from it. I got that even if someone did leave, Gogic in particular would still be out of our reach such is the offer he apparently has on the table from elsewhere. So even if say, Reid left this week, it would open door for more players to come in but Gogic wouldn't be one of them.
  5. See also we've finally confirmed defeat in the Gogic pursuit.
  6. Joma have always been small made at least compared to Hummell and Cabrini so I'd go a size up.
  7. All adult size shirts now sold out on pre-order. Think that can be classed as a successful launch!
  8. Noted at the Arbroath game that the Clarke ePOS billboards behind each goal were still up. Hopefully these will be gone by the next home game. Clarke has not paid us a penny of sponsorship money and has left Falkirk, Livi Motherwell and ourselves high and dry as well as several women's sports teams whilst only a month ago buying Ardeer Thistle and talking up how much investment he's ploughing into Scottish football. Time to get him and his company punted. Not a minute more of free advertising for what is increasingly looking like a scam artist.
  9. I bought an original of that shirt about 8 or 9 years back (before old strips became fashionable again) but it was the VW Ingram one rather than Kelvin Homes. It still looks brilliant as well. I also got the black and red 'AC Milan' style Clanford shirt from 1994/95 for a fiver (same season we had black and white halves) and when it came to me, it was still in the original Core branded poly bag. I felt like I'd won the lottery. It must have been sitting up the back of a warehouse somewhere for 20 years.
  10. Regardless of future fees, we must be getting more for our biggest young assets in terms of actual cash. £125k and the rest on the never-never is simply ridiculous.
  11. £125k for Reid is f**king pathetic.
  12. A month of this patter now. A month!
  13. 3322 or thereabouts is the number to match last season.
  14. So wait I can't just walk up to the gate tomorrow and use my ST from last season to scan through? WTF is that all about?!
  15. Probably not. Robinson said that he's looking to add one more midfielder to the squad and that will be it for the time being. Although O'Connor can play there, he's not been playing in midfield for a long time now so I can't see it being him.
  16. Sad news indeed, I know John and a few members of his extended family very well. He had an awful, awful time of it the past few years with the circumstances in which Borgia closed and the resulting fallout and my mate (who formerly flatshared with John's cousin) mentioned to me just 6 weeks or so ago that he was very, very ill indeed. A cracking guy who always had time for you whether in one of his pubs or he met you in any other Paisley establishment. Big character who will be missed around the town.
  17. He's been playing on an ankle or heel injury most of last season that needed surgery. To answer the question, yes he is still recovering but I think he's back in full training. I think in the last 3 or 4 games of the season, he showed that he could potentially have something to offer under a different system, so I'm definitely not for writing him off just yet. I remember Michael Higdon only scored 3 or 4 goals in his first season with us and was almost universally disliked.
  18. The bookies haven't a clue when it comes to Scottish football outwith the Old Firm. I've seen players being quoted as anytime goalscorers months and months after they've left.
  19. Aberdeen are not interested in Dunne. They got their left-footed centre half when they signed Scales from Celtic.
  20. Carey when he signed for us full time was a huge let down. We waited and waited all summer and he showed up out of shape, struggling to keep pace and just couldn't get a run. When it did finally come off, he showed flashes of brilliance but he was never good enough to play left back every week - Plymouth sorted this and turned him to a number 10 to fantastic effect. If we were pursuing St. Johnstone's really lazy transfer policy - guys like Drey Wright, and Andy Considine, now Carey - I'd be having major concerns right now.
  21. He made 31 appearances for Aberdeen last year including 25 starts. Interestingly enough, none of those 25 starts were against us. He was on the bench for all 4 meetings and only played against us once which was in the last game because Considine got injured.
