  1. So did some fans with parking ticket actually get turned away ?
  2. Turned up 20 mins before kick off and just managed to get a space. Is this scenario to be expected on Sat match day's? If still allowing pay at gate then how do they ensure that those of us who put money up front for parking ticket will manage to get a space? Also having changed layout of lanes it was not good getting out at end. Is this another case of us Family South Stand folks (and this time West Standers as well) coming 2nd to finance again Anyone heard anything official from Club?
  3. Anyone know if parking for this season can be bought yet?
  4. First half was abysmal, poor communication throughout, midfield absent, unable to string a few passes together, passing sideways before hoofing up park.........all the usual stuff. Second half miles better, attacking ball, pressing opponents and going forward with pace. Great goals and an excellent performance from Morgan when brought on. Actually thought we were going to win! However there was a Referee. Hippolite should have received second yellow and sent off but Dallas bottled it and knew he had. This decision I think saved Goodwin from being sent off, his reckless challenge in front of Dallas was just plain crazy There was a blatant foul against us in lead up to their 3rd which again was right in front of Dallas.. Gutted at result but pleased with 2nd half performance. Need to persuade Morgan to sign up for longer deal. Hopeful for next season, shouldn't be fearing any team in this league.
  5. They win the league and celebrate at their own ground. They will get the trophy and celebrate at their own ground. They are now getting their final game shown live on television. They are now apparently taking over most of our ground for final game What are they wanting to celebrate at our ground? and why should we be letting them? Are we really that desperate?
  6. If buying a season ticket no longer guarantees you your seat then what is the point? Me and my daughter bought ours to be guaranteed a specific seat which she wanted and which she seen as her own! Could we assume that once back in the BIG league, then if a BIGGER club wants more seats we'll all be shuffled about to accommodate? Keep season tickets but now do away with guaranteed seats would be the only way for the club not to lie to their supporters. Deeply disappointed in the way the club have targeted the kids.
  7. Myself and my daughter will now not be going. Being offered £10 off next season and a chance to watch something that we already have the DVD of doesn't cut it either. Our home ground full of Rangers fans, no thanks, for the same reasons that we don't go to Ibrox, a wholly unpleasant experience guaranteed.
  8. So if the family stand supporters are to be relocated into main stand then they have to be getting placed at one or both ends of it as that's where the spaces are. As we are giving Rangers both stands behind the goals , then no matter what, any kids going to the game will be next to the Rangers support and so will be subjected to their vile and bigoted nonsense. This idea was thought out by the club with it's own supporters in mind!! ??
  9. We were poor first 15 mins an could easily have been 2 down. After that they never troubled us in 1st half. Kelly an Baird were excellent together today, Concerned about Irvine in 1st half, could hardly stay on his feet. Agree with all that has been said re others though think Gallagher also deserves mention. Like Quinn he put in a power of work chasing and harrying. Don't know about this lumping the ball up the park, optimistically we're playing the ball into space for runners.Better than playing tippy tappy stuff at back and it stops me worrying. One small gripe, we again started backing off as game reached last 10mins. So 2 wins in row, this one with none conceded When Goodwin fit and if gets to play, who drops out? may make us more solid but would that make us slower and more defensive? When Naismith fit and gets to play would it be a simple swap for Watson. Personally like Watson, could we accommodate both in team?
  10. Would the other keeper not just be Ridgers coming back?
  11. Felt sorry for Shankland again today. He may not have blistering pace but he continually made excellent off the ball runs which the rest either couldn't see or didn't have the ability to pass to him. I'd keep him if possible. Like others, would also give the lad Stewart a run at left back. As for the rest it has all already been said.
  12. Always liked Thomas Stickroth
  13. Okay, anyone wanting the Saints programmes identified in previous 2 posts can have them, no cost. Can personally deliver if close, will need to be collected if not. G52 area near Paisley boundary.
  14. “Everyone always says in this situation you want to play and pressure higher up the park, but it is human nature to drift further back. It sometimes doesn’t matter what anyone says or thinks, it is just a natural thing. Reading that it certainly doesn't look like they are doing as they are told. He appears to be admitting he has no control?
  15. Can negotiate a price if anyone interested. Singly or as group. Also have 3 Scotland ones from 70's Brazil, Spain and Czech And Bizarrely a Burnley v Shrewsbury from 12/11/94 Few away ones assorted clubs through the years Clyde, Thistle, St J, Ham Dunf, Celtic, Kilm, Dundee, Ayr and Falkirk
  16. Dreadful stuff. Your losing, tactics not working so what changes do you make. Gallagher off Shankland on..............Like for like McMulan off Morgan on...............Like for like Agnew off...............Who cares............Like for like Did I miss something? (Did think I saw Thompson trying to play left wing at one point, what's that all about!?) Shankland should plead to go back to Aberdeen he must be mighty demoralised. Thompson should be benched What is also really annoying as spectator....Your losing, you know their keeper will not pick a ball up until has to yet no one goes forward to force him to pick up......time lost......We also persevere in backing off!! We are losing and no one seems bothered to go and try win the ball. Most seem as though they've had enough, fear we will have mass exodus at end of season. As most are youngsters hoping for a future in the game I doubt they'll feel staying with us will be of any benefit. (rightly so). Looks as though each individual player may be told what expected of them but no group discussion, so there is no team understanding of what everyone is doing. Lump the ball up the park seems to be it, we even do it at kick off, it's like the start of a Rugby game with a high ball kick off over to touch line.......pitiful, conceding possession straight away. I can't find anything positive with current tactics and changing team selections. Yet I'll no doubt keep going to support. Can anyone give me a positive?
  17. Sorry if wrong place, but got 32 Home programmes ranging from 90/91 season to 08. Any advice on anywhere that might take them? or do they just get binned? Also 3 x Scotland from 70's Away Programmes 4 x Rangers v St Mirren 90, 91, 06 and 75 (St Etienne) 1 x Celtic v St Mirren LC 06 Hamilton 05, Airdrie 05, Dunfermline 07 Kilmarnock 06 and Clyde 03 and 04 Burnley v Shrewsbury FA 1st round 12/11/94
  18. If he had got beyond Reid who then chased him back and brought him down at the 18 yd line then he would rightly have been sent of for preventing a goalscoring opportunity. In this occasion he fouled him at halfway. The decision is not dependent on distance from goal but whether or not the player has a free run towards goal with no other outfield players between himself and the goalkeeper. Therefore correct decision by referee.
  19. Interesting interview. Said that he thinks he asked too much of his defenders at start of season by getting them to go forward " I’ve learned now to ask my full-backs, first and foremost, to be defenders. Never mind trying to get them to play like wingers, or whatever" If that is asking too much of the modern day defender, then we do have problems in my opinion. I'm sure I've seen Kelly, Naismith and a few others all cope admirably in previous seasons with this tactic, or am I missing something?
  20. Just think he should by now have an idea of tactics that work, quarter of seaso gone and still no clue.
  21. Whose idea is it for us to stop trying to press and attack after we take the lead? that second half was disgraceful and we were so lucky to hold on. Baird and Cuddihy were complete bombscares today, Agnew disappeared in 2nd half, Thompson left isolated again, Gallagher ended up in left back position at times and If it wasn't for performances by Goodwin and Langfield in 2nd and poor finishing from Livi we would have undoubtedly lost today. No animation from touchline manager so have to assume the players were doing as instructed !! Great result, fantastic goal but play like that 2nd half again next week and we'll get demolished big time.
  22. Exactly my point. When has he ever played the same starting eleven this season?
