  1. Another display planned in W7 for Saturday. Looking forward to this one! As usual, even if you don't like standing, come and sit near us in W6, get the noise going round the ground. Definitely helps the team. COYS
  2. They usually are. If I get permission I'll happily stream it on twitter
  3. Just wait till we get a shite Brexit deal and sign a massive "trade agreement" Will make the EU seem cute
  4. Love when the forum is full of these threads moaning about other forum users.... means the team is doing well.
  5. In fairness, "Super Stelios" is more of a cult figure. No one thinks he's the perfect footballer, just a loveable rogue with a real amount of passion. Thought he was fine on Saturday tbf. We lost the game in the midfield and in failing to deal with Jai Quitongo
  6. As a rule of thumb... If it's just one comment in the heat of the moment, it's a tap on the shoulder. No need to grass. Always went by "sticks and stones" when it comes to words. Not on the same level as assault anyway. If it goes further and becomes genuine abuse, and you feel that it can't be self policed by others around you - then it becomes reportable, as a last resort
  7. I remember years ago playing the old Rangers - Jean Claude Darcheville was playing on the wing and taking a few pelters from the North Bank. "You're just a fat Eddie Murphy" being chanted at him - but an older guy next to thought the words were - "you're just a fat hairy monkey". Queue everyone around him tapping him frantically on the shoulder before the steward caught on. I'm not sure that he meant it to be racist, as such, maybe just a generational thing... He had a cracking game and scored 2 of Rangers 3 goals. Very good player. Anyway, to answer the point above. Sometimes it just requires a tap on the shoulder. If it continues to the point where you feel uncomfortable to be around them, then perhaps it's time to get some help. Certainly not the same as "caving someones head in with a brick", a strange line of argument imo.
  8. Where did I say ignore? Our support is generally self policing. This mentality of "someone said a bad thing, call the police" is reeking of Rangers & Celtic style point scoring to maintain some kind of moral highground. Just tell them they're being out of order - if they continue to be an idiot, that's their own problem/risk. There's no cure for being a c*nt
  9. Popcorn out for this thread There's a decent point being made somewhere. While in my opinion, it's not acceptable to be a grass - if you overhear a racist comment, you have to say something. It's our club that would get dragged through the mud if a reporter gets wind of it. Didn't hear anything myself so can't really comment, thought the banter between Quitongo and our fans was funny and in good spirits, considering he was ripping us apart
  10. It was a policeman. Looked like he had suffered a stroke. Hope he's ok. Got a decent round of applause going off
  11. Is "TRUE FANS" the new fake news? Whoever comes in, I just hope he scores goals
  12. Don't take this the wrong way. Know that story, the boy who cried wolf? There could be a legitimate point being made here, but the amount of SMISA bashing you do on every wee detail is becoming so tiresome, that I'm struggling to take any of your posts seriously... Things are ok right now, we're doing well as a club. The fans are together. Perhaps you could take a note of all of your grievances, and make a decent post when the AGM is coming up? Just a suggestion
  13. Can't see recent posts on my work PC Weird but working on iPhone
  14. Anyone fancy joining in? Free. Just for a bit of fun Go to https://fantasy.premierleague.com Pick your team (sadly it's English fitba) Then join league 2665164-624570 Will update the thread as we go along with leaderboards. See who really knows their football Post your team name on the thread so we know who everyone is! a few of the guys (& girls) already signed up are from Twitter-land
  15. Give ticket office a call. I'm sure they can sort something out, bound to be a few people on the same boat
  16. Woke up this morning feeling fine, got st mirren, on my mind. Jack Ross has got us playing, the way we should, oh yeah. Something tells me - I'm into something good... 1...2...3...4 (repeat till deed)
  17. You'll have no forum left at this rate Thought the turning point yesterday was when we realised that neither of their fullbacks could defend. Morgan and Stelios overlapping was great to see, thought Reilly was great. McGinn and McShane can almost stroll it at this level. On Samson - he did well overall, distribution could be improved, job for Langfi... err, aye. With the style of football we play, we're going to score plenty and lose a few too. At least it's fun to watch! Onwards to Greenock
  18. No idea. But good players want to play at good training facilities, so if we didn't have a 5 star facility, I'm 99% sure we would now be in league 1. We may have the Paisley Sports Village by 2020 anyway!
  19. Thanks Sir Shull To answer the above. W7 is our allocated section, W6 gets taped off so we're not blocking anyone's view. If the section gets bigger and bigger, it might start to spread towards W6. Think this will be one of our best efforts so far, a lot of time went into it - even booked out a hall to do the painting. Got plenty of flags too. The SLO has been really helpful. Thanks to the club for getting on board, long may the good communication continue. Ideally we want the whole stadium getting involved, but anyone of any age or any gender, (especially Shull) is welcome to come join us to help get the season off to a flyer.
  20. Are you kidding? John McGinn, Kenny McLean, Stevie Mallan, Jack Baird, Mark McAusland, Sean Kelly, Jason Naismith, Kyle Magennis, Lewis Morgan, Kyle McAllister to name a few... Look how many players we've brought through into our first team. Last year they saved us from slipping into League 1 5 star elite status too. Not to be sniffed at
  21. I was half expecting Shull to start one! Word is going round social media so I'm sure the ground will be rocking for this one
  22. Just a quick post to let everyone know, we've set up a flag display/tifo for this one in W7. If anyone's wanting to join in - head along and join us for a sing song. Hopefully the noise spreads round the ground COYS
  23. Less than 100 Started with 1373 and we have 1291 currently
