Gambling Thread Season 2014/2015

In my local club we got our last man standing going yesterday. 23 of us put a fiver in each. Yesterday 9 went for Man City, 7 for Newcastle, 5 for Swansea , 1 for Everton and 1 for Arsenal. I swithered about Swansea but went for Newcastle. Must admit I thought Man.City were a stick on but thought I'd save them for later. There you go. Gambling is a mug's game.

A wee win today

Southampton, Everton & coventry at around 7.5/1 I believe the deciding factor must've been putting the bet on in willie hills shop as opposed to online. Hassle now is going to collect the wee winnings. However since its the first in a wee while...

  • 2 weeks later...

Just stuck a few bob on Jim McInally to be the next manager to leave his post in Scottish League One at 12/1 with BetVictor. Peterhead had 3 men sent off by half time on Saturday while there's a chance one or two others may be taking a rest for a game or two thanks to the SFA Compliance Officer due to some posts on Twitter concerning one of Dunfermline's players after Saturday's game.

Apparently Peterhead FC is an unpleasant place to visit these days where they used to offer a warm welcome to visitors with McInally being the prime cause. Their results haven't been great this season so 12/1 may be worth a tickle!

I would go for a Tommy Craig and Alan Pardew double on Wednesday?
