Stuart Dickson
Is Dickson seriously suggesting the DWP is run by either the SNP or anyone other than the Tories? BTW ANYONE who supports this type of slave labour is scum. Almost as bad as those companies bleating this morning about how they can't afford to pay a living wage. If you can't afford to pay your staff enough to live on then you don't have a legitimate or sustainable business. Oh FFS. I read the BBC article today on how shift work affects the brain and I immediately thought of you. You'd be completely safe to work permanent night shift for the rest of your days cause I doubt you could really become any more stupid I'm sure it was perfectly clear to anyone with eyes in their head and a brain slightly more effective than the Peanut M&M someone dumped in your head that I was not claiming that the DWP was run by the SNP. I was talking about the individual - the case worker. I even stated, just to make it clear, that I was talking about the case worker at the DWP when I pointed out that there was no evidence to back up Tony Soprano's claim that he was a Tory and that on balance of probability it was far more likely that the case worker would be a Labour or SNP voter. As for the policy of placing long term unemployed workers in to a position where they can showcase their skills to a prospective employer? Well I'm completely in favour. It's a scheme that has proven to work well as is evidenced by the fact that in the UK, and in Scotland, we have an all time record high number of people in employment. I also don't think it is stupid that an employee be asked to return to a place he used to work in a year ago to showcase his ability back to an employer who is familiar with his work record as surely that would enhance his potential of getting re-employed. Only a buckled left winger determined to keep the working classes in their place would think otherwise. Moving this on slightly but further evidence of the damage socialists are doing to workers can be evidenced in those three ridiculous cases that went through the appeal tribunal yesterday afternoon. How ridiculous is it that an employer be held to account over a dubious interpretations of the European Working Time Directive relating to overtime and holiday pay, for employees who will have opted out of the directive to enable them to work overtime. Even more ridiculous is that the trade unions are all over this with the net result that employers are now likely to stop employees from working overtime to enhance their lifestyles and will instead hire temporary workers on zero hour contracts from job banks to do the hours that would currently be done at enhanced pay levels by loyal members of staff. oaksoft
Is Dickson now claiming that individual DWP workers make up rules as they go along rather than follow the rules set by the government of the day i.e. the Tories? thepaisleypanda
the SNP where only one candidate is allowed to stand for election as leader, BOLLOX! - ANY party member could have stood for election as leader! a50lennyc
"I doubt you could really become any more stupid" - Anyone else see the irony? "there was no evidence to back up Tony Soprano's claim that he was a Tory" - Tony never claimed that. And you were calling someone else stupid!?!? "we have an all time record high number of people in employment." - You would expect the number of employed to rise all the time due to the population rising. Using the absolute number of employed instead of the percentage of the working age population shows that you have something to hide. "hire temporary workers on zero hour contracts" - But that's how your UKIP-lite masters have managed to get the "record high number of people in employment", even if that is a skewed way of looking at things. Do you ever actually think about things yourself or do you just take your masters' words as gospel and then inflict them on us? how do you find the time to post such sh1te Ernie? Stuart Dickson
Cameron asking labour voters to vote tory to keep out ukip in by election where ukip candidate is ex tory mp. And the media would have you believe its red ed whose a dead duck. What's wrong with that. It'll be the same in Scotland where Cameron will ask Scots to vote SNP to keep out Labour. Tactical voting is the order of the day these days.
