Mid Calder Saint
Well I will not be purchasing three season tickets if the current Board and Management Team is the same regardless of which division we are in.I simply have had enough this season with one blunder after another. Seaside Nipper
Davies and Fitzpatrick eh ? No shortage of enthusiasm certainly , both have always been bubbly and effervescent if not a complete cure for indigestion. However as for managerial and team development, nope. We are certainly about to enter a period of change, frankly , it is our time in the grand scheme of yo yo clubbing. Rangers or HIbs will replace us and with Hearst up most observers see this as a plus for the top league with us out. Ross county or Hamilton will almost certainly be relegated next season. Our natural place is probably about 15th in terms of scottish league teams. We have had a long spell in the top league, never ever will win it , unlikely we were ever looking at top six, so , as nett contributors we have strived to avoid relegation every year, that's been it. We have avoided it for a while , some would say we have been remarkably successful,in that regard, me, it's all a bit meh, and has been for more than several years now. KIlmarnock, Motherwell, Ross, co Hamilton, they'll all look at the drop from time to time, it's just that as a season from hell , we've beaten other yo yo teams to the drop this season. Time for a major rebuild, several years in the Championship, we'll go again. It's a shite state of affairs, but that's the reality of St mirrens lot. norrie82
Kilmarnock and motherwell won't drop they value their premier status not us tho we are totally bereft of ideas and being ran poorly. We're now heading down and good luck selling the club now? Which leaves us in a state as they don't want to be here and nobody else is interested so what we have is a malaise that stinks

Dalrybud
Couldn't agree more. Fed up hearing this mantra that relegation is to be expected at a club our size. Well, somebody forgot to tell the likes of Killie and Motherwell. We are facing the drop because we have a Chairman and Board that ran out of ideas long ago and have used that excuse to mask their inadequacies at the top level. Having done such a great job in laying the foundations for growing the club (new ground, training facilities, etc) they STILL couldn't move us forward. A return to the lower leagues without so much as a whimper will be their legacy. Penny pinching has been the order of the day, with the excuse of lost revenues against Hertz, Hibs and Sevco being used to justify it. How ironic it'll be to see to of those so-called cash cows bypass us at the end of the season. God knows what this lot will try to sell next. I recall that this is a Chairman who declared the whole first team squad to be up for sale the last time we didn't get off to a decent start in the First Division. Bound to be catastrophic.
