TediousTom
Hello forum user's. Not for the first time I attempt to drink from the font that is your knowledge. A young relative of mine has a special birthday coming up and it is my intention to have a gaming PC built for the young man as he likes to "game". Once I work out the "spec" I require I shall pop into my favourite computer shop in Paisley's west end and have it built. Can you help me with this? Here is what I have read so far.... An i5 processor. Its almost the dogs testicles but not quite. The dogs testicles are the i7 but its way more expensive and not worth the extra. Have the system "overclocked". Dont know exactly what this means. Have the system water cooled and not cooled by a noisy fan like my laptop is. A graphics card is needed, I dont know which one. Anyway please give me your knowledge to drink, to drink indeed.
chalky1
Overclocked is bit like running your pc at 100 mph when it recommended it should operate at 80 mph here is a link for cooling systems http://www.pcworld.com/article/2028293/liquid-cooling-vs-traditional-cooling-what-you-need-to-know.html Google to rest and get to see some reviews, there are also companies that will build gaming Pc, check their websites and get an idea of what is required and what it will cost
TediousTom
Thank you. Much of it seems rather gobbledy gook to me. Gook and gobbledy indeed.

BuddieinEK
I purchased my system online from Chillblast thanks to the recommendation of Drew. They were excellent and knew their stuff. Built to order... and two years later still running like a dream. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
