A manager is only as good as the quality he has to work with or the attitude of the player.

Goodwin has failed with Aberdeen no doubt about that.

Robinson has turned the attitudes around of our side with a poorer squad. He deserves to be judged with his own squad. It will be interesting to see how the squad shapes up pre-season.

This thread makes some reading, I just read through the first 4 pages then had to run to the toilet.

The hysteria that gathered momentum with every passing game has to be read to be believed.

Thanks to the OP for coming up with an alias and giving me a real laugh.

Goodwin hasn't failed at Aberdeen. He like Robinson should be judged with his own squad. The comments on Robinson and Goodwin since they took on their new jobs are just laughable.

So two managers who have been at their respective clubs around the same length of time have very similar records with another managers squad but ones a failure and one not ?  Really ? 🙄

You correctly say that Robinson should be judged on his own players but can’t seem to grasp that the same rules should be applied to Goodwin. 🤷‍♂️

I'm usually all about giving a new manager time and a chance to prove himself, but Stephen Robinson is pushing even my beliefs now. He inherited a team with realistic top 6 dreams now the way we are playing we may end up in a relegation playoff. Yes it was a very close league but still no excuse. How much longer does he get.

How much longer?
