Have only seen the highlights so can't comment on individual players, except for Freckleton's blunder for the Falkirk goal. But he gets pass marks for getting us back level just 3 minutes later. Whole team deserves credit for defending a one-goal lead for almost 30 minutes to get the vital points. We've all seen days when they wouldn't have managed that.  Not sure about McLeish. Deserves some credit for the win yesterday but still a long way to go. Needs some media training. His post-match interviews need polishing. Would like to see a permanent appointment in time for the post-split matches. They will be a real dog-fight with Aberdeen joining us and Killie in the scramble to avoid the play-off place.

Great result today if not a great performance. Gogic and Freckleton  are probably our best players bu t were guilty off setting up most of Falkir k chances.  Some of our defending was very po or.  However we survived it and managed to win which is what is important. Aberdeen game is now massive. If we can drag them back to equality with us and Kilmarnock it will be very interesting. thought Donnelly played well today . Phillips made mistakès but was 100% as ever.  Goalkeeper was OK  kicking was poor.  would like to see us be more direct. Free kicks about half way. No short passes just get the ball in the b ox. We are poor at building chances  so go direct and pump balls into the box. Both our goals t o day came from crosses into the box.  Cut out th e short free kicks which never go anywhere and get the ball forwa rd.
