After the boost from last nights result I'd hope we are going all out for a win tonight. We are where we are down to the manager and players, another 3 points tonight would really cement the difference between 5th and 6th place. Looking forward to it.

Life just gets better and better. Hardly slept last night, head whirling with St Mirren stuff. Next task, drop subtle hints to Mrs Faraway...............

The last European match we played I had only moved to Jersey about 18 months previous. I couldn’t make it home for the game as my eldest daughter had just been born about a month before and I couldn’t afford the fare home (bizarrely the cost of a flight home back then was more than it is now!). This was before we even had teletext on our telly and there were obviously no broadcasts in Jersey. The only way I could find out the score was to phone the main stadium number at Love Street and ask the guy who answered what the score was. 🤣 I phoned at HT and FT and was disappointed both times. I won’t be missing these games.
