Funny that, I spoke to a member of staff from our training complex a few weeks ago and his very words were.... the fans don't realise how good a player young Reilly is he sticks out like a sore thumb in training and the club has really high hopes for him, but admitted he needs to mature and bulk up slightly, also David Longwell wasn't happy about the amount of game time he got last season. lets not be too quick in writing the kid off, he's only 19 and an underdeveloped one at that, so FFS lets all give the boy a chance...

The thrid goal in the same game, he has 5 yards on Dow, so what does he do, make a tackle? no, usher him out wide? no, or even foul him outside the box? no, he allows Dow to stroll past him effortless, while hoping kelly can make up 3 yards to make a tackle, SHOT, FUMBLE, GOAL, = bad defending....

I remember leaving the north bank at 1-0, heading for the caledonia street exit, through the gate at the security fence and by the time i got to the top of the caley end terracing it was 2-1 "unf**kingbelievable", TBH its about all i remember about the game. traumatised maybe... I played in the same team as Alan for a season or 2, what a smashing player he was, wasted talent, although I think some versions of that story have grown a few arms and legs over the years.. I never lived in Glenburn but went to school up there, and I remember Bernie Gallagher who lived in Glenburn (I think) who went on to play for Aston Villa and a few other English clubs, I read last year that he had died aged only 44, very sad he was a really nice guy at school...
