  1. Are there still issues trying to use the app on android. Have been having problems getting logged in, randomly crashing etc. Tried to update the app but hasn't seemed to have made any difference. Any suggestions as to how I can get access again? Cheers
  2. Think Oaky has already sent in his CV. Seems like there is always an opening in The White House for someone of his self-proclaimed 'calibre'
  3. Wouldn't dare diss Dundee United fans in any shape or form as know and am related to some of their fans, and if you properly read my post it said 'WHEN' (big letters now to make it easier to see) we go up,I hope a party or some sort of celebration is held, which I don't see the suggestion as being in anyway disrespectful to any of our opponents. I know there is quite some time left to run but I HOPE our good recent performances serve us well and sincerely hope we go up when this season is done and dusted. Hope this clarifies my views and position regarding my last post. Ps- what's with the 'Dissing'? What wrong with using insulting, slagging off etc, was wrong with proper English, Innit!
  4. Good suggestion. Think there should be a big party when we go up
  5. Any details on the name of the stadium, since we lost out on the 2021 City of Culture? Will the name be kept for a while to remind us of how close we got, become the 'Your name here" stadium or go back to St.Mirren park? Or something else to stop, particularly radio commentators referring to it as 'New St.Mirren park'
  6. Onwards and upwards. Got a win in difficult conditions against in nearest rival in the table, and a great penalty save from Samson. Just need to keep up our tempo, work on defence and midfield and hopefully this time next year, we will be discussing where we are in the premiership and in a good place in the table
  7. Give yourself peace. They haven't replied because of A) Budget cut & staff shortages due to said cuts, Being inept, C) A bit of both. You give out your self-satisfying opinions, probably for a bit of an ego massage, give a lot of 'I'm better than anyone else, I work hard to stay away from you' etc, then come out with the petted lip when someone has the cheek to disagree. Man up and if we are all 'beneath you' why do you continue to grace the forum with your presence? Just a thought......
  8. Got a few pairs of supposedly grippy boots, but the roads and pavements here are new and billiard table smooth, so end up really Slippy with the slightest bit of frost. Was actually safer walking about and driving when a bit of snow was down. I've also invested in a pair of grippy things that go over the soles of your shoes and have little spikes to help prevent you slipping
  9. It took an age just to get to speak to someone who could deal with it. Started contact by email(eventually sending 18 with not a single response except the automated crap you tend to get to say they have it) Then council didn't know if they or The Scottish Government had responsibility as a lot of my area was regenerated and rebuilding was commissioned by them, eventually spoke to 11 people in council and last guy did what he said by getting a grit box out but hardly any grit in it. He said council may be able to grit pavements if gritting teams have enough after roads and its not too dangerous for them to do it. Feel sorry for the older folk although I did slip last year but only ended up with a dislocated finger plus jacket & jeans ended up dirty but minor really
  10. Not really a fan of blended whisky but heard mixed reports about Haig Club and Clubman. The only other blends I've found ok was Johnny Walker Blue label, and The Black Grouse(although that was quite Peaty). Let me how it turns out. Cheers
  11. Was treated to a lovely bottle if 15 or 18 year old Oban, after I went up there for my birthday of few years back. Was nice to drink waiting for the blizzard to stop- it was in May! Also like Higland park, and having a dram or two of Talisker on Hogmany
  12. Most areas have very few if any grit boxes and in the case of my area, a few folk have fallen and been injured, and after months of calls to the council, one finally appeared in the area but only filled with what looked like a couple of handfuls of grit. Ive asked for more to be put in the box but so far with no joy. I've cleared a bit of pavement for folk to walk on & stick down some salt when I can but a bit hard when at work all day to do it all the time
  13. Again, twattery of the highest order from your good self, and proof that pulling the head off it in your case doesn't make you blind, in your case it just makes you a cretin with a high opinion of yourself, that sadly not many others share. I'll leave you to try and wrangle some street urchins, lowlifes and vagabonds into clearing and salting the streets
  14. Yet another piece of 'I'm better than anyone else' twattery from our good friend Oaksoft.
  15. Been to Norway and a few motorways around Lillehamer and Oslo have snow gates to close the roads if the snow gets too much, which are 10ft high, so far as they seem more prepared, these gates haven't been used yet. Most roads are clear or passible, trains run on time, most flights operate and runways are cleared and the tend to salt a lot of pavements too, something that rarely happens here.
  16. Maybe she's not a lazy shite, content with sitting on her arse after her win. Maybe you should offer your services as an advisor on what she should do?
  17. What E.T short for? Because he's only got wee legs
  18. I'm really pleased and not downing our performance in not only coming back but winning. Just at times our ability to let goals go in a relatively short period of time can be a worry. Onwards and upwards and hopefully get a win against Dundee united
  19. Wasn't at the game as working but had live updates and my arse was sqeeking by their 2nd but as time went on it seemed we were performing better, and glad we got the win- hope we don't give ourselves more work to do when we played Dundee Utd on friday
  20. Good win but isn't it worrying that we managed to lose 2 goals in space of the first 6 mins, Glad we had the balls (no pun intent) to get a win out of it
  21. Glad we got a win today, but losing 2 goals in the first 6 minutes is a worry, apparently on of our goals was a gift as QOS made an arse of a ball in their area. Good that we pulled it back but losing too many goals which I hope doesn't come back to haunt us later in the season
  22. Quite a few from Kevin Bloody Wilson, but titles are a bit 'risque' and definately not for a young audience....or shull!
  23. Including complimentary peanuts, glass of bubbly on your arrival, waiter service to bring your pie and bovril to your seat etc? As well as a football club, it's also a business and any football club with the means will try to maximise revenue. If we gave loads of 'on the house' extras, the club wouldn't be in a healthy financial position. If anyone is unhappy with Buddievision(name is a bit naff btw) then you don't need to subscribe.
