If Anton doesn’t have his coaching badges I’d be happy for the club to support himthrough that while he continues playing and assists with the training. Great guy to have around the club. Good influence, especially on the youngsters. Be even better if his big brother came up to see him a couple times !

I’m really hacked off at this. I still have hospitality for three home games this season (birthday present), and living in Aberdeenshire means midweek matches and Sundays are out - once you factor in travel time and childcare, it’s Saturdays only for me. currently looking at the home match against Dundee and then having to wait on the fixtures after the split. Nightmare !

Not sure how I’d feel about this if true. Hate losing anyone to a competitor, but really no idea what he’s contributing behind the scenes. I’d hope he would be able to persuade Polworth to join us, but no sign of that.

The timing is very strange indeed. No real time before the window closes and right before a crunch match against Dundee. has Rice been confirmed ? If so, I hope he doesn’t poach any of our targets in the last few hours of the window.

Heard Accies chairman on the radio last night and while Rice may be bookies favourite I think Hartley sounds a better fit for his preferred profile.

I think it'll be a great cup tie, with us winning a highly competitive match by a single goal.

Sevco have been inconsistent, poor sometime but then terrific against an admittedly very poor Celtic. That said, if we set out only to contain them with no ambition ourselves we will get hammered. If we are going to lose heavily I'd rather it wax because we had a go rather than played negatively.

Need to stop them from scoring early, keep 11 men on the park. And hope they lose the plot and pick you at least one red card. Preferably in the first half.

Sorry, have to admit I rarely read their match reports or pay attention to their team lines. My bad... Any good ?

I am sure the BOD are working on, and will be successful in, bringing in a striker. Just hope whoever it is proves to be a success!

Completely agree we need a big, experienced striker. Just don't want us to forget about Sam.

I'm really pleased with all the signings so far. Tansey will improve with every game. Too early and unfair to comment on Dreyer. Can't wait to see the LB ( Croatian! ). And looking forward to need of us signing at least one big striker. Don't expect any points from the tough away games we have coming up but I think the team will be truly firing by the time we face Dundee and Hamilton again. When it really counts.

Agree, we need to be up and at them right from the start. However, that’s something we have not managed much this season - slow out the blocks in too many matches. But not today. Our season starts this afternoon.. COYS !
