FFS- I wish we stop going on and on about two teams that basically do f all for Scotland, the do a lot for themselves.....
In saying that 90% of fans of both teams are not bigots, its the prats that are.... Its the war that carries scum across the sea to matches.....
When Tic were Scottish in 60s and 70s they were highly successful, same for Gers and their hatred was for each other but again, that's was a tiny minority.....
Flying Provoking Flags.... whatever...... get these morons and throw them in prison, they are inciting trouble.....
SFA should treat all members the same, it was the 11/12 rule that killed our deals.......
Frankly with Church attendances at less than 5% in under 40s, who cares, religion is not involved. Its just pricks
Reason I supported Saints was because they simply were my local team, if they had been, Catholic, Proddy or Muslim I would not have cared.
So not being to controversial here- But the Irish are the issue here and selected Glaswegian Morons . Bringing there issues here./......
For the size they both are, they are pretty shit at footie.........

Leave him to it, he's allowed anything to do with the Old Firm  consume him and, as you can see by his regular rants  he's tedious in the extreme.
A snob, well, not sure but definitely thinks he's a cut above, which is quite amusing.

So like the of fans you claim to despise you are just a football snob who likes to rubbish the levels below them.
Well good for you but let me tell you my level of football is as important to me as yours is to you.
As far as I'm concerned I do watch real football with guys who still love the game not like the players ripping off your club.
So tbh I'll leave you to your arrogant football snobbery and your overpriced overrated SPFL
You're far worse than any old firm fan I've ever spoken with

I am a St Mirren Fan
I do not care whether or not the New Rangers are the Old Rangers in new clothes.
I do not care about whether this is the Old Firm or the New Firm.
Neither do I hate either of Celtic, Rangers, Morton or any other football team or their fans.
I don't like to gloat either - and lets face it - we don't get much opportunity to do so as St Mirren Fans.
If there were no other clubs, there would be no games and if there were not fans of other clubs then things would be dull.
    Surely?

People on here gloating are every bit as bad as the Old Firm fans they profess to hate.

    Beith had a piano band!?
must have been a bugger to march behind.
I played in a bugle band (8th big drum) and pipe band (23rd pipes), never got a chance at a  piano band...

i've been meaning to ask you...
i played against (and beat) 1st Beith BB many times in the Saturday morning fitba - home and away.  Beith was always our toughest match, but the Mighty Eighth always prevailed
so I've been intrigued that the town's junior team now uses OUR adjective to describe themselves - and wondered if the choice of name had been influenced by the visits of our much better team?  When did The Mighty monicker take off?
(my first match against Beith on a frozen, snowy Paisley Racecourse pitch, I got a hat-trick and someone converted one of my corners. I never played so well ever again...  downhill all the way since) 4-0.

    Thanks mate.
He was also a captain in the BB, played piano in a band and had time for each and every person he met.
I will miss him greatly as will the town of Beith.

I am a supporter of Beith Juniors and regularly contribute to the Junior section on here.
One of our supporters passed away over the weekend at the age of 80.
His name was Willie McDougall and he was a tech teacher at both the above schools.
Just thought I'd post on here as I'd imagine some on here may have been taught by him.
    He was a total gentleman.
    May he rest in peace.

Oh, my Dad almost certainly will know him then, he played in the school band and still helps out with the Port Glasgow high school band now, 18 years after he retired! I'm seeing him tomorrow so will mention to him. He taught science (specifically chemistry), and when he was at Camphill helped run the school football team.

Actually Serbia and Bosnia so was wrong again.
They are ethnically Albanian and I believe it has been agreed that Swiss players originally of Kosovan background have been told they can revert to playing for Kosovo due to change in FIFA status.
Apparently many fled to Switzerland during conflict and there were a few Kosovans in Swiss Euros squad.
Also unusually for a European country they are 95% Muslim.

Good luck to you  If you've started running/training and you've not had any problems with your current trainers you'll be fine to use them and put off buying new ones for a while. I started back in January using an old pair of trainers and haven't had any problems - any that I think were caused by my trainers anyway!
