How much was the trip for 25+ bodies to la manga? Flights, hotels, expenses and so on? Could they not just have used the cash from that to replace the turf? Fwiw i dont have an opinion on this or claim to know enough about it but with cash thats came in plus the spain trip why would the club need to dip into/ask for this "ringfenced" dosh? On the subject. When John gets punted im sure they will quickly replace in one lump sum via the 2hr faster online payment function.

A part of me feels like he owes us and holding out for a bigger club would be a bit of betrayal. IMO we saved him from possibly ending up at QOS again or worse, basically giving him a second chance at a good career. That been said, i dont know what he was offered so i suppose that is a factor.

Ricky i like the positive attitude n all that but sometimes have a wee scroll down just before creating a thread as there may be a relevant thread for your thoughts at that time to be posted. I was a regular visitor to the TykesMad forum when Barnsley signed Mallan and it was a horrible forum as there were too many threads all with about a dozen posts each. We are very lucky that BAWA isnt like that. I agree with the post 100% but just pop it in the Stubbs Confirmed thread. Maybe the mods can rename to simply Stubbs, All things Alan or even...
