  1. Without wishing to prolong this further, I clearly never suggested my post was in keeping with the thread title. I suggested that if you didn’t want to be a hypocrite, you were going to be a busy man shutting down all off topic posts, 90% of which would be authored by the 3 idiots I mentioned.
  2. So it’s official then. Freedom of speech is not tolerated on B&WArmy. My posts (which I assume you are referring to) were in no way defamatory. I expressed an opinion which I am certain breaks no laws and it’s laughsble that you apparently shut them down for being off topic. You’re going to be a very busy man. The only thing that gets my goat is that trolls like LPM, Shull and Wendy get to bore the forum senseless and ruin it for everyone else with their incessant, repetitive pish, but as soon as someone manages to troll the troll it gets shut down. Either moderate the board properly Div or don’t do it at all.
  3. That is incorrect. The most rudimentary 30 second search shows Wendy Saints saying it at least 4 times in the January Arrivals thread and at least once in the Cammy Smith and January Exits thread. Anyone sad enough to spend any more than 30 seconds searching I’m sure would find many more.
  4. In fairness Oaky, apart from the wee guys that live under bridges in Scandinavia, I think that is pretty much the definition of “troll” in an online capacity.
  5. The people that say that fall into one of 3 categories. 1) thick khunts who read it in the Daily Record or heard Stubbs’ pals say it on BT Sport. 2) Trolls 3) Both of the above. The majority fall into category 3.
  6. What? Canning canned for McCann cannae be possible.
  7. Why stop there? You could keep it going with..... Matty Matty matteo Matteo Matteo Matty Matty Matteo Matty Matteo
  8. Very harsh on Popescu. A bit harsh on Hladky. Spot on with Tansey and Dreyer.
  9. Just for the avoidance of doubt, could you clarify the order of merit we should apply to pish, useless and invisible?
  10. We’ve now had an opportunity to see most of the new signings in action for at least 90 minutes. So what are the early views (disclaimer – my views are based on witnessing the whole of the Alloa and Hibs games, but only seeing the goals from the Celtic game) ? Hladky – So far unspectacularly steady is my view. He hasn’t made a complete howler and he hasn’t produced a wonder save. A couple of the goals he’s conceded it could be argued he could’ve done better, but equally he’s produced a few decent saves that he wasn’t entitled to make. Was particularly unlucky against Celtic after making an excellent double save. Looks fairly sure footed and steady on the deck. I’m comfortable he’ll prove to be considerably better than anything else we’ve had this season. 7/10. Popescu – Totally commanding in the air. Would love to see his “headers won” stats for his first 3 games. Can’t be that shy of 100%. Also looks ok with the ball at his feet and positionally hasn’t given much cause for concern. The main area I remain to be convinced about is when he’s turned, or when someone is running at him. Not saying he’ll be lacking in this area, just not had sufficient opportunity to assess him. All in all though, I think an excellent addition. I’d give him a higher score if we hadn’t conceded 10 goals in the 3 games he’s played although I don’t think he’s been personally/directly culpable for any of the goals. 7/10. Tansey – Not impressed at all so far. Looks unfit and not up to the quality required. Also came with a reputation for delivering an excellent dead ball which we’ve seen precious little evidence of that so far. Jury well and truly out so far. 4/10. Lyons – Extremely unlucky to get sent off against Alloa due to a horrendous refereeing decision, before which he had looked decent. First half against Hibs I thought he was excellent. Strong running, powerful and not afraid to get stuck in. Brilliant run and delivery for Jackson’s goal. Faded in the second half along with the rest of the team but I have high hopes that he will prove to be a good acquisition. 6/10. McAllister – Looks a cut above to me. Helped turn the game against Alloa and scored a brilliant winning goal. Was definitely one of our better performers against Hibs although should have done better with his glaring opportunity in the second half. Tested their keeper on a couple of other occasions and was generally very unlucky not to get a goal. I think that he will improve our team more than any of our other new signings. 7/10. Dreyer – Completely non existent in his first game. I’m not going to say he looked shite because he was totally anonymous. For the time being we’ll just need to give him the benefit of the doubt that he needed a game to get up to speed/find his feet, so we’ll see how he gets on in due course. Unrateable so far. Thoughts?
  11. Aye in fairness you made a right arse of that one Oaky! Would've been fine if he'd said "maybe I'm the only one...." I also suspect you're completely wrong. I think the majority of folk are partial to a wee bit of speculation.
  12. Have you ever thought about a career in after dinner or motivational speaking? It really would be a shame for razor sharp wit like the above to go to waste. Also that big raging hardon you have for me is a little embarrassing.
  13. You’re the one who signs off his posts “Fud”. How very self deprecatory of you. Like I said. Pure raging.
  14. Does that constitute a response? If so, can i hereby claim that to be my official response to every one of your posts anywhere on this board other than St. Mirren Pic & Vids.
  15. Ha ha. That’s class. LPM and Wendy will be absolutely raging.
  16. Yup. That’s right Ricky. That’s why I’m stating that my opinion is that such a person has no right to put forward such a forceful opinion, if they don’t know the rules. That’s my opinion. I vehemently uphold their right to have an opinion and for me to to tell them that their opinion (in view of not knowing the rules) is a load of pish!
  17. You are being a right wee nippy sweetie today. Are you on a particularly bad period? I feel my point was very clear. If you’ve played football and know the the rules, you’d know that was an incorrect decision. You seemed to be saying I was suggesting that if you haven’t played the game and didn’t know the rules, then you’ve got no place at a football match, which I clearly never said. I merely suggested that such a person may not be in a position to be strenuously offering forceful opinion on the correctness of the decision. All very clear I think.
  18. Pod, I feel you are somewhat missing my point (perhaps deliberately) in order to score some completely unnecessary “PC” points. I know what I meant and I strongly suspect you do too.
  19. Fair play to him for coming back with that response. If that had been Sutton, (even if he hadn’t meant it in such terms) he’d have come back and stoked the fire even more just for sport.
  20. That’s fine Pod (although I strongly suspect that most football supporters have played the game to some degree, even if it was only in a school playground). However, if you’ve never played the game before and don’t know the rules, then I’d suggest you don’t pontificate on a message board about how correct the Ref’s decision was. By “you” I of course don’t mean you personally.
  21. He kind of did Oaky. I thought it was quite a clever wee jokey spot by Cockles to be fair.
  22. There is only one thing I find more surprising than the Ref’s absolutely horrific decision, and that is how many football supporters on this thread a) have never played football before and b) don’t know the rules of football.
