Defensively we are utterly embarrassing. This is what is costing us games. Very little cover in front of the 2 centre half and as for the CH's.... you can literally look at every game and see where the goals come from. Particular highlights are; Dunfermline away (2 of the most embarrassing goals conceded this season caused by the CH's) Dundee utd at home, 2 vile errors from the CH's. I wish JR all the best and hope he can grind enough results to keep us up, but sadly i think the rot has set in (a few years slowing catching up on us) and I don't think we can turn things around. The club moral, team moral are the lowest I have seen in the 25 years of watching saints. I hope we can turn it around... Gonna take some great management though. Its a sing we are up shit street when Ayr, Dumbarton, Morton and Dunfermline are all sitting above you in the league. Really sad state of affairs. I will still be there every week though......

I am in the US just now, is St Mirren TV showing the game today? Before I pay for this and there is no game. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I am not convinced about Rae. He has signed some good players but all in similar roles. We miss a leader & I think letting Goody go was a huge blow. It has meant that Mallan is playing deeper and it doesn't suit him. I also think his punt the ball tactics are poor on the eye and defensively - he let a Kelly go without a replacement and played a right back out his depth. He plays a lot of players in the wrong position which is hurting us as Mallan is less attacking and he is not the best defensively, he hasn't signed a leader in the centre and finally, the tactics just aint working. I hope he turns it around but I am am not too sure he will. Fingers crossed.....

Hey guys, my bands new single launch is in Broadcast (suchiehal street) on 30th April, Saturday night shot. 2 support bands. Three bands on in total. £6 a ticket. We are touring just now and also playing with another Paisley band from the 80's called "Close Lobsters" in May down in the 100 Club in Soho, London. Hope to maybe see a few buddies at the single launch.

My point exactly. When he has been played in the centre he looks a good player. As much as I am happy with the bit of progress under Rae, his squad decisions still leave me a bit confused at times.

Cheers guys - I just wondered as our defence hemorage goals centrally (second to every 50/50) and thought he's worth a punt in centre back!

Why is he not playing? We could be doing with control in midfield and yet Jim warms the bench each week?! Mental.

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere... What happened to Kelly? Injured or something? We are conceding a lot of goals in the middle of the box with poor clearances and maybe Kelly deserves a shot in CH?

Other than the result, the other only noteable improvment was there did seem to be some sort of formation that the team seemed to stick too, which to date, I have barely seen. One or two glimpses of football but overall it was not a good watch and was glad when the FT whislte came. IMO, Goodwin back to free up Mallan and replace Agnew would also help us.

Reading his comments are pretty interestig actually.For example it implies that the training and interaction is better as well as the realtionships. There was a lot of rumours before that this slightly feeds. Only time will tell what Rae can bring. Would play Webster in CB and Reid out right, we looked decent with this before Reid went off.

I'll echo that. I was there today and i also think the man had to go... Hiwever, to watch him walk off to that isn't nice to see. It's written all over his face how he feels. Not pleasant but it wasn't to be and he had to go.... All the best Murray
