  1. From the media / marketing / kitchen team at SMP?
  2. Charlie Adam spotted at the Caprice.
  3. IMO, Newton would be an improvement on most of what we have available at present in the middle of the park. Bar the odd game, McGinn does not look like he has the legs for this league; happy if would prove me wrong.
  4. The club need stability. We can ill afford to (1) bring in / off load 20 players every January; and (2) change management every 18 months.
  5. Whilst we can blame Stubbs for the duff recruitment, ultimate blame lies with the Chairman and Fitzy for appointing him in the first instance. From the off, anybody with any nouce could see that Stubbs was not the correct appointment. So we had the sublime (JR) to the ridiculous (AS), our very own Brexit happened and we'll be picking up the pieces for seasons to come. OK deserves as long as it takes.
  6. That was all just a ruse, they ejits didn't know what they were voting for. They would have eaten shit on a stick if you told them it was a toffee apple.
  7. Mentioned on BBC at weekend that capacity is 7500 or so for operational reasons. Agreed, no merit in moving games for same capacity or a few more.
  8. Perhaps it's time for Labour to introduce a Bill seeking to amend Treason legislation that would introduce a definition of ‘economic treason’, which could be applied retrospectively, being “actions that result in reputational damage for the country, an unacceptable economic cost, or a loss of economic sovereignty for the State.” Ultimately, this is what May and the Conservatives are seeking to do to the Country.
  9. You may well be right, would it be worthwhile the chairman picking up the phone and starting a conversation? Might not be a long conversation but at least the club would know an answer.
  10. Given the club are looking at bringing new money into the club and may be looking to filling in corners of the stadium, I wonder whether the club should speak with Glasgow Warriors to move their home games to SP? As far as I'm aware, GW sell out their games (approximately 7500 at Scotstoun Stadium) and are looking to expand to accommodate more people. Seems like an opportunity to me, fill in the corners, let the ground to GW on game days, they get more peeps in the door, we get a rent. Thoughts?
  11. Hey, we can still do the double! Champs League, aim high.
  12. Poll: Clear majority of Scots say a fish supper is better than Brexit

Can only agree. not sure big Campbell would be the best mentor; intern would probably end up leading the line.

Why not give a stall holder or two from the farmers market the chance to see what they can do, if they want to that is.

Why are the club not taking on a marketing intern from a local uni who could bring some fresh ideas.
  16. As the additional funds are essentially surplus, any vote (or all votes rather) should require 75% of all members to vote through something and not a majority of those who vote.
  17. My humble opinion is that this set of accounts is a reason why SMiSA should be employing an accountant, even on a piecemeal basis, to plot some sort of strategy going forward.
