  1. In his debut game, he took his man on got to the bye line several times. However, yesterday when he got the ball he seemed reluctant to push on and elected to pass the ball to another player. Lack of confidence and/or lack of leadership both on and off the field of play could be affecting his game.
  2. Phil can only handle half pints.
  3. I didn't say we had progressed, but we certainly have better options up front. TBH, if Lennon had experienced the injury problems we've experienced so far, he'd have been out on his arse much sooner than happened in the end.
  4. I thought there wasn't really much between the teams in the 1st half. However, after we missed the chance immediately after HT and they scored, it all went to shit. We lacked leaders on the park and boy did it show. Ellis Plummer is a superb player, but as much as he does a job at CH, if we're going to continue to deploy him there, he needs a reliable experienced partner. Unless we sign a decent CH before the window closes, we're f**ked.
  5. To be fair, last season, we'd either have been playing Reilly or a midfielder up front if Sir Thommo had been injured early season.
  6. The complete desperation in the BT camp is highly amusing. Darling and Brown being ordered to do their Tweedledum and Tweedledee act during the week reeked of total panic.
  7. Why is it weird? There are many labour supporters that can see that UK labour are quite openly talking about adopting tory policies and that their party is becoming more and more right of centre every day and have all but abandoned their socialist principles. They have the ability to see that voting Yes is not simply a vote for the SNP and in fact opens the door for the Scottish population to get a chance of voting in a left of centre labour party. Something which is a long way off happening, if ever, if we stay part of the UK. As I alluded to in an earlier post, more and more traditional labour voters are realising this and although many of them detest Salmond, like some SNP voters, they have the wit and foresight to see past the "Salmond factor" and to vote Yes.
  8. Deary me. Better Together are the lowest of the low. I mean, that's how it works in Fatty's dismal life. One person carries out an act of pondlife proportions and tars every like minded person with the same brush................... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-28989953
  9. That could be a factor, but he needs to improve his decision making too.
  10. And it will, until he stops his suicidal mistakes. And, back at the ranch, if you hadn't noticed, our current crop of forwards are mostly youngsters who are all new to regular SPFL football, as opposed to having 4 or 5 years experience at this level.............................. Also, I do agree that Kello hasn't been great, but I haven't had to put up with his gaffes for several years.
  11. If TC has watched Marc McAusland's performances over the past few games and thinking "He'll do for me", then I fear his tenure will be ended at some point in the near future. I do try to be positive regarding Marc, but he's not improving and if anything he's getting worse. I feel sorry for him as his mistakes seem to be affecting his confidence. New CH Mr.Craig please.
  12. Could you please refrain from quoting the meltdown queen. You do know that if you agree with him he'll be round to steal your life, as most f**king nutters do after a breakdown. Anyway, isn't this your night for felching cows?
  13. I was talking to a work colleague today about the referendum. He's been involved since the start of the campaign in door to door canvassing for BT and also attending many meetings. He's now decided to vote "Yes" , as he said he gradually realised he couldn't find any reasons to vote "No". He said the final straw was when he was in a car on the way to door to door canvassing when he discovered that his "partner in crime" was a tory and that it brought home to him that BT has now become a tory mouthpiece acting solely in the interests of right wing policies. He's a labour man through and through, and sees independence as the only chance to get a left of centre labour party back into a position of influence, given their adoption of right wing policies down south. He says that a fair number of his like minded colleagues are doing the same. He can't stand Alex Salmond, but unlike some, he realises that a vote for "Yes" doesn't mean you're voting for Alex Salmond.
  14. Hopefully your post might lower the blood pressure of the drama queens.
  15. Looks like rabbits are about to become endangered species, given the amount of UKgov arse kissing that's going on.
  16. Surprise! Surprise! In the article Wood states that he "did not do a calculation" for his report Maybe he based his figures on a feeling in his big toe. http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/oil-the-last-gasp-scare-story-fails.25123685
  17. Mine too No increase for me.
  18. Took part in his first full training session on Thursday according to TC.
  19. Posts like his are what the ignore function is for.
  20. Definitely pronounced in a racist manner. I could feel it's tone emanating through my lap top screen. Disgraceful behaviour from Saint in Exile....................
  21. What's the definition of a "natural" right back? I'm sure there are plenty of RB's who started in other positions. Also, who is to say that Adam Drury didn't start as a right back and has since branched out into a more attacking role. I'm sure our last "out and out" RB, DVZ, started out as a centre half. I'm more worried about the centre of defence!
  22. All Hail the all knowing Drew! Good signing, if he stays fit.
  23. Sounds more like "We've been knocked back, so let's invent an excuse to appease the fans" Also, I find it quite strange that Newton had such a clause, but Adam Campbell didn't. More made up shite concerning players contracts perhaps.
