  1. Hope they rebrand new Douglas Park with EK FC logos etc and the club shop too
  2. An enthusiastic board of directors and his position may not be needed and that could free money for players. The problem being though the less than enthusiastic BOD and how many other championship clubs have CEOs
  3. I suppose the best way to get Danny back would be as one of these new " match day ambassadors" the club put up at corporate hospitality. In my eyes,he stands alongside Tony Fitzpatrick as someone who is a club legend but ultimately a poor manager. Let's just remember the good times and bring him back very home game to say hello.
  4. So who put Spalding out ? Murray or the board and who gets to pick the replacement ?. If the board decided this then Murray's position is near untenable and if Murray, then who would work with him if that's how he operates.
  5. Watching that performance yesterday, it looks like the Walk football sessions at the dome have moved to Ralston full time. In fact the walk footballers probably show more movement and intent than those "professionals" picked for the team do. As for Murray sitting the stand for a better view, seem to remember that was Mr Hay's MO too and look how well that worked out. Probably stuck with Murray due to finances but he looks like a manager scared to lose a game and more scared when winning one and bottles it.
  6. Experience has won us this league twice before and until Murray accepts this and plays an experienced core to the team then more of this will follow
  7. Seem to remember that Goodwin was told last January that he was free to find himself another club. Clearly this point has been mentioned to Murray and he does not want to play Goodwin if it can be avoided. This in no way avoids the fact that the team badly needs a solid experienced spine and a player like Goodwin is needed now
  8. Call corporate lounge Fitzpatricks and the directors lounge Coplands.
  9. Liked how he talked in the papers today and his dismissal of McManus and the text apology getting ignored
  10. He should now be the official club poty..come on BOD,do the right thing once this season.
  11. I note the word "Again" seems to be missing from the headlines, some people are their own worst enemy. Of course it could be a stitch up with the police looking for revenge for last time's leniency.
  12. Sold to the highest bidder...and it would seem the only bidder. At a fee that meant SMFC had to give Kenny the chance to talk to the Dons and he chose to go, so good luck for the future. He clearly knew the best deal for him is to move on, which maybe offers an insight into how our future unfolds.
  13. Aye it was but no link as it was an advertisement..waste of three grand too..would have laughed out loud if their board had said it though.
  14. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-fans-spark-storm-protest-5040733 This could lead to fun and games in the Hampden sun next week...
  15. Looked to me that Arquin stubbed his toe when attempting to shoot, fell over and sat waiting on the referee to make a penalty call, the rest is history. He should have got up right away in case the ball came back his way, instead made it easy for the ref to get one back for Thursday. Bad as the ref was, our attempts on goal were far worse and as far as other results went, tenth place is still up for grabs. Oh for a little faith...we can but hope
  16. Let them do this offer at a Celtic or Aberdeen game as an experiment. Football is well overpriced but this seems an easy game to this at as most of their money is already in the bank.
  17. I have no doubt that MacNamara will target Goodwin early on in the game hoping for a reaction. It is up to Goodwin to have enough savvy when it matters and realise what will happen.
  18. Let's wear the away strip against Dundee [email protected]
  19. Stolen from The Herald's discussion on today's events doon the road... "Today's the day the Teddy Bears had their pitch nicked"
  20. Foul was given against Imrie for initial attempt to control the ball
  21. And that indicates to me the lack of professionalism permeating through the club at the moment. Maybe heads would roll at an other time.
  22. That statement reads like it was written by a very unprofessional 10 year old who just had his Football manager game taken off him. Sadly, that level of professionalism is being matched by our selling consortium who continue to frustrate with a lack of urgency on all matters pending. The term used "It's business as usual" from the BOD until the club is sold is getting more and more ludicrous by the day.
  23. Any clean up by the board starts in the dressing room...Murray St can wait, find a different route.
  24. McCoist being cute here offering to resign as opposed to walking away.Sky saying he will still be in charge tonight at Qots. Tendering his resignation to then make the board make a decision.
  25. I doubt anything of note will happen tonight and it will indeed be a damp squib but I am willing to be surprised with positive action taken and loads of information about the future. I wont hold my breath though as the BOD seem intent on shambling along awaiting Mr Right.
