It is a friendly match and more about fitness and seeing what works plus players getting usedto each other. As for relating this to actual competitive matches, can I say that Swansea City from the EPL lost 3-1 to a lower league side (Bournemouth) . It happens and I doubt Swans fans won't be worrying too much and thinking they are going to struggle because of a game more necessary for match fitness than end result.

What gives us the right to beat 6 of the clubs or as you say "should beat".? Our budget dictates the quality of player and most clubs will offer more than we can (despite putting themselves into financial difficulty). Perhaps in due course our youth development will produce good players but then the key problem is keeping them. Maybe we will all be pleasantly surprised this season. As for expecting to beat teams or should beat teams, that is generally for old firm fans.
