  1. You've got me on that one mate. we didn't replace any but the one's who came in........ Who did they replace then?
  2. After the last two results maybe they're being kind to members!
  3. Get real. Butcher came in in January 2009 and almost saved the club from relegation. Thankfully for us his team lost the last two games and were relegated instead of, you guessed it, US. Still the highest number of points for a demoted team and exactly the same number as us. He then took them to the top tier the very next season and went from strength to strength.
  4. I don't think height was a problem.......
  5. Was it really you or is this a Sparticus moment?
  6. I remember back in the days when telly wasn't 24/7 and had a massive THREE channels to indulge ourselves, Radio Clde was a godsend and break from Radio 1. FM? WTF? 261 MW was it. Doctor Dick's midnight surgery was a revelation. I remember the playout song was "Sweet dreams" Now though I cringe at the memory of listening to the sh!t with my then girlfriend who, after all these years, is my missus. Chr!$t! Just had a thought. I may soon be getting to the age when there will be a need to see a Doctor about a disfunctional...............................

  15. If we had two games before we play the old firm, (the only one left by the way), I'm sure the unishment would have been 3.
  16. Great news. And with Cornell, Caprice and Bahoken all returning to their respective clubs it leaves room for more news, hopefully, good.
  17. DL said, "We know the qualities that Jim has, we know the demons that Jim Goodwin has, and that is just part of the nature of his game" Danny has hung Goodie out to dry. In light of the methods used by DU the club should have highlighted the other "missed" incidents in the game. Fair's, fair, Or should that be Unfair's, fair and all that?
  18. Goodwin would have been as useful as a chocolate fireguard as CH. He was frightened to tackle in midfield. As I said. It was perhaps in an effort to help the midfield that DL ut DVZ alongside Goodie. Not the best decision as it turned out but not the disaster some would have us believe. We still had chances to win the game and there was always going to be a reaction post break by an increasingly desperate Hearts team fighting for their lives. A second goal from us would have, in my opinion, knocked the stuffing out of them and I don't think the change in formation was the cause of this not happening. In fact. We should have had the game buried after 15 minutes but, as usual, we failed to kill off a weaker team.
  19. After having time to digest I have to say I think people are looking at the first half with rose coloured spectacles. After the first fifteen minutes, which, on another day, we might have put the game to bed, we lost the midfield and were already on the back foot. I didn't agree with the substitution/tactical change, but when Hearts scored their goal the players were still trying get to grips with the change. Wrongly or rightly Danny perhaps decided that Goodie was ineffective on his own and I agree. How could he combat both the losing of McAusland AND the Jim problem if Mair wasn't fit enough to be introduced? He decided on his solution and, although it wasn't successful, people should remember that we also had some very good chances to win the match in the second half. It became end to end stuff and Connor, Jason, Thommo and Harkins had openings. In fact I would say we had more good openings than Hearts though, no doubt, they had the best chance to finish us in the final seconds. Hail Marian Kello.
  20. An half hearted Goodwin is a useless one. Every time he went near a Hearts player he pulled up with his arms raised looking at the ref. No good Goodie. We need the real you or none of you on the park.
  21. That was my thoughts too. Mair was not only warming up. I think he was stripped and ready. It would seem proprostrous that even Danny would change team shape with no time to consult unless it was absolutely unavoidable. Even with the change we had enough good chances to win the match before the final onslaught by Hertz.
