  1. I'm even more surprised by No 27 on the list, looks like the man himself (Danny) thinks it's time to go!!!
  2. If you know "for a fact" that there is something going on behind the scenes that's causing problems and making things very difficult for DL then maybe if you elaborated more people would get behind him!!
  3. I didn't read it as him calling you a "c**t", it said you were making a "c**t" of yourself by the way you were behaving, and using it as part of the "West Coast" vernacular of describing someone's behaviour. It's a discussion for another topic but I thought your behaviour, on that thread, was quite pernicious in it's delivery. Other than that I think, as a poster, you have viewpoints and thoughts that add to the various forums.
  4. Somner9 I don't like abuse of any kind, I do however think it comes in many guises, not just name calling!!! My name is Ally Mitchell and if you like I'll "PM" you my address, no need for anonymity from me..........I didn't particularly agree with the way you were articulating yourself on the thread you are talking about, I was "liking" a post that was pointing out your behaviour.
  5. I don't quite remember it like that...................most of my pals, those sitting around me in W4 and I were quite looking forward to Imrie signing as he had always been a pain when we played against him. His perfomances, for the most part, w a complete let-down although that may have been due to the role he was been asked to take on (I don't know whether that is correct or not). The abuse, which isn't right (in my opinion), came after he didn't appear to be the player we expected him to be.
  6. some of your post I agree with but the bit in bold is just nonsense, the reason Imrie is not here is because our management team didn't think he was good enough and he found another club. Nothing other than the players performances and our management teams decisions drove Imrie anywhere.
  7. Dave, I get it...........to you Danny is, and always will be, a Jags hero (and rightly so) but I'm guessing you are either are Danny or have a cctv camera and microphone in the dressing room, Lee Mair's house, the St Mirren boardroom, the dressing room, the team bus and every players car. Either that or you think that "our" manager is beyond any criticism!! For what it's worth I think a lot of the criticism being spouted on here is way over the top but there is no disguising the fact that there are major problems going on and DL is certainly not blameless. A change of keeper and the loss of Dummett and Goncalves are what we are dealing with from a starting XI perspective. Dummett has been replaced with Grainger ( a decent LB) and Harkins has been shoe-horned into our midfield. We're not looking at wholesale changes from the team that Danny told us were "top six" material and we should be boosted by the return of Darren McGregor. If, as you put it, all the respect that DL has left would be gone by playing Lee Mair then I'm thinking, from your inference, there isn't much left now anyway and perhaps a parting of the ways would be best. Personally I don't think that's the stage we're at and certainly hope DL can turn it around but it's certainly getting tougher for him and many of the problems are of his own making.
  8. I that a 3-1-4-1-1 formation and without Gary Teale (probably our best player this season)??
  9. Why would an "allegation" in a divorce settlement show up on a CRB check? If the police hadn't been called, if there was no arrest and there was no charge and/or judgement I can't imagine why it would show up on a CRB check.................other than to suit "someone's" agenda!!
  10. That's where he was going if he didn't go to Killie, I'm reliably informed!!
  11. Maybe so but I'm pretty sure we're closer to his home than Motherwell
  12. "It's over, but I do not believe he was motivated by, or was actively seeking, the list of things you did say in your quote. Why do you still feel the need to stick a knife in? Not only stick it in, but give it a twist for good measure." I notice the bit you haven't answered from Pozbaird's post. Other than that, have a Happy Birthday!!
  13. If AIB GB is a UK Bank, paying it's taxes in the UK and registered in the UK there is no way the Irish taxpayer took the hit. If however the monies were being transferred through to a "Holding", "Group" or "Parent" company based, registered and paying taxes in Ireland then the Irish Taxpayer may have had to suffer............this is totally different from RBS, RBS was paying it's taxes and generating revenue for the UK and hence the UK Government stepped in, to try and say that "Scotland" would have gone under is massaging the truth as "Scotland" never got the Corporation Taxes and Employer's National Insurance that went with it
  14. I've always believed in taking people as you find them................. over the last wee while I had cause to contact Richard Atkinson on four separate occasions with regard to help and information on a couple of matters. Each time I got a professional and personable response and he was able to provide me with what I was looking for each time. People may or may not have agreed with the CiC/100000Hours project or thought things could have been done differently, and that's fair enough, but for me Richard Atkinson was a good guy with good intentions.
  15. So tell me Great Sage, who are they, who is their father, what does their father do and why does that guarantee them a place in OUR SPFL side?? The only reason any of these guys play professional football is because they have been deemed good enough by our management team and previous managers/coaches throughout their careers yet you continually harp on about one individual and cite his father as the reason he gets a game. You did give me a laugh earlier when you mentioned in another thread (Adam Campbell one) that it had gone off topic and we were discussing other players rather than concentrating on the thread topic.......the irony, I have no doubt, will be lost on you!!
  16. You heard him correctly.
  17. Please let us know the highlight of your professional football career then Pele................................................you come across as one bitter, bitter person with an agenda against somebody you probably don't even know!!

  20. In fairness to DL, and I'm not one of his disciples, he did mention he was unhappy with desire and concentration levels in our last two games. To question, and I'm not saying you are, Danny Lennon's winning attributes and desires isn't particularly a criticism I would level at him.
  21. Not so sure Pozbaird, it's normally "known and provens" that win at Muirfield, it's known as a course that has to be learned.............if I was looking for a wee e/w flutter I could be tempted by Garcia at 28/1 who won the Amateur Championship at Muirfield (good memories) and generally shows up quite well at "The Open". In saying that, if his putting is off he'll probably not even make the cut!!!
  22. I respect your thoughts and opinion, me I'll just carry on supporting my club!!
  23. Can't argue with most of that but sometimes "art" can become confused with "self-indulgent horseshit"!!!
