  1. Don't generally have any problems whenever I go to Viennas. The staff have always been decent with me, as have the bouncers. What was stolen? I generally put all my personal belongings other than my phone/wallet/keys into the cloakroom, as not really a place you can leave things lying about.
  2. Calm down... the bigger the crowd the better. Just stated last two games have probably been poor in comparison to away games I've been to, makes it difficult for a good sing song to get going, and lack of noise won't help the players nerves as we try and get over the finishing line.
  3. What frustrates me having followed the team all season is when a big crowd comes out it's hard to get an atmosphere going. Not a f'k the Glory Hunters type post, welcome every buddie, but been to away games with 3/400 away fans this season where we've rocked the place. I just wonder if the lack of that atmosphere is why we've struggled the past two away games.
  4. Not having a go mate. I thought we had to do something because after 70 minutes what we were doing wasn't working. United were happy to sit in.
  5. Watching a different game from me then. As soon as Sutton/Hippo on we looked dangerous in the box. I was wanting McGinn off a lot earlier, he was clearly struggling and the number of poor passes he made continuously put us under pressure. We move on to Saturday, hopefully clinch it, because after Inverness, Brechin and Dundee, I'll be in line for a divorce soon.
  6. Deflated we didn't win it officially. But one point and we are champions. A year ago we were out celebrating we were in the bloody league. Hats off to Brechin home supporters who welcomed us with open arms when the segregation got lifted. They wanted to take videos and pictures of us and kept congratulating us on our season. It's now in our hands. I'm working Tuesday and working on Wednesday. I can't wait to walk into work as a supporter of this great team, as champions.
  7. A St Mirren supporting former police officer tweeted BTP police giving them the heads up...
  8. Started off with a goal, and everyone myself included thought it was going to be a stroll in the park. A cluster f'k in defence and suddenly we were all over the place and couldn't recover. We do seem to only have the one plan, but it's that plan that has got us to where we are. I'll start bricking it when we are only 5/6 ahead, until then, I'm just going to enjoy the ride.
  9. Tommy Craig era? Away and take a look at yourself.
  10. I'm steaming. The wife is not happy. I'm bloody delighted. Dodododo Oh cammy cammy
  11. Red card for ICT for those that don't know.
  12. Another Brechin goal would be convenient,
  13. We have got tickets before with just the season ticket number, seat, address.
  14. That was bloody outstanding yesterday. Every player done their bit and more. The back three were solid and I'm delighted Buchanan has came on after a poor start. Playing with a back three gives us the cover we need to allow Stellios and Smith to bomb up and down the wings to support the front three. It was great to watch us close down the United defenders every time they had the ball, I lost count the number of times we won it back by doing this. The way that the back three turned into a back five every time United had the ball as well meant they didn't have any space to move the ball into in the final third. Special mention to Morgan, what a player he is, deserves to be playing at a higher level. He literally just strolls past players and they can't even get close enough to him to bring him down. I paid for hospitality yesterday so had a great day from start to finish. I was also at hospitality for the Raith and Ayr pumpings we handed out last season. I think I'll be paying for a few more hospitality games this season, if these performances continue every time I go. [emoji1] Won a signed ball as well yesterday but gave it to one of the kids that didn't have one yesterday. I've got a feeling this team is going to achieve something special and it'll be worth a few bob in a few years time, so he better buy me a pint when he's old enough. [emoji1] Gutted it's the international break next week, two very big league games coming up.
  15. I was at hospitality when we pumped Ayr 6-2 and Raith 5-0. I'll be happy if anyone wants to pay for me to attend for the season. [emoji1]
  16. Today showed what I like about Ross, he's not afraid to make changes when he's got something wrong. He's now realised that he can't play Reilly up by himself, neither can he play Sutton. He changed it to a 4-4-2 today and we looked comfortable and could have scored more. If we have the ball in the oppositions half, then we can't concede. I'd be happy going into the season with a 4-4-2, with Stewart replacing a tiring Sutton. We'd only then realistically need a right back, right winger and a centre half to be pretty comfortable with the squad depth. Airdrie didn't offer much, I felt sorry for their right back as Morgan was just ripping him apart. Need to be quicker on the ball next week but as we won't get the same respect given to us today.
  17. There used to be quite a few of them, sat behind me and my mates when we first moved. It was quite entertaining taking the piss out them when the football was shite. They then got a ban, but have seen them regularly again kicking about.
  18. Assuming so, it was open for the Dundee friendly.
  19. Good job I stuck a few quid on Corbyn PM and no party majority then! Might even need to crack open the Malt at some point.
  20. I love watching Election night. I'm working tomorrow morning, but working from home in the afternoon which will help me get away with staying up, How long I stay up for will depend on the exit poll and how the results are looking as they start to come in. This was the first time I was unsure about who I wanted to vote for. Ideally, I would have voted Greens if they were standing in my area. It became a toss between SNP and Labour. Ultimately went for SNP. I think would have voted Labour had it not been for them taking my vote as a vote against independence. The best thing Scottish Labour could have done was have an open policy on independence. Ideal scenario is a hung parliament with Labour forming a minority government, with SNP holding on to most of their seats to help prop them up. Ultimately, whoever gets in won't make much difference to me. But hoping for some twists and turns tonight.
  21. I think the difference is that we are signing players from teams who are absolutely gutted these players are leaving, and believe they deserve the chance to step up. We've not just went and picked up half of Cowdenbeath's first team squad. We have struggled with having players in depth for many seasons. If we have a first 11 with quality experienced professional, mixed with a our talented young players like Baird, Magennis and Morgan. Whilst having a good squad of players as back up who have performed well at a lower level with a point to prove when called upon, can only be positive. We're not going to have 22 players who are good enough to consistently play in the first team. Some of these signings will pay off some won't. They won't be on large sums of money and so it is low risk high reward.
  22. Led to believe Magennis has just signed an extension. Had offers from Everton, QPR and Southampton but opted for first team football. Some lad.
  23. Dougie McNeil has confirmed it on Twitter. Generally spot on.
  24. He was there, vaguely remember speaking to him.
