  1. Oh Aye like Thommo, DVZ, Gowser, Goodwin, Carey, Cuthbert, Adam, McKnight. All wanks.
  2. Hopefully Thommo feels he can last another season. I think he will need to be used more sparingly if he was to play on. He was nearly completely burnt out at certain points this season. He is still scoring goals and looks in great shape. I'm assuming Lee Mair had one of these in his contract? Hence the lack of game time? Pretty sure he triggered an extension after playing a certain amount of games a couple of years ago.
  3. Incredible game of football. Thommos goal before half time was vital. Changed the mood of the stadium and we all believed. Wylde was outstanding when he came on and even though he isn't to peoples taste Magennis caused Motherwell problems. Goodwin and McLean grabbed the game by the balls and McGinn didn't stop putting himself about. Amazing the difference 45 minutes can make. We were staring at the play offs now we may have a shot at 7th
  4. Do you not agree though, he is a better option than everyone else we have tried in that position since he has been injured? Newton had a couple of excellent games but faded away. Think we have tried McGowan,Campbell and Magennis there but none have been as effective. Even just giving us the natural balance in the team. He can flatter to deceive sometimes, his first season was a write off but I thought last season he was incredible for us.
  5. I reckon if Teale was a Saints fan and Thommo wasn't he would of took all the player of the year awards last season. I'd say he was our best player but opted for Thommo for the obvious reason.
  6. McAusland and McGregor should be scoring a few more from set pieces. Has Goodwin scored his wonder goal for the season yet? Don't think he has. Getting Teale back will be a huge bonus for us. We have really missed him this season. I wonder how many assists he contributed last season? My guess is quite a few, must be near double figures?
  7. We have seen it over the years with other teams we have relegated. Play rotten football for the majority of the season, get rotten results and expect it to turn around come the split. Its going to come down to courage and bottle. I don't think our players/management have shown enough of that this season. Danny still doesn't know his best starting line up/system. Personally I am assuming Thistle beat Hearts and County take something against ICT, I think we need 3 points here. 4 or 5 points behind going into the split is a really big ask to turn around. Saying that I think we can do it, we have to.
  8. Wonder if we will be interested in Craig Gordon if Kello's season is finished?
  9. We always seem to beat them when the chips are down. Hopefully our defence keep big Sutton quiet and Thompson causes them problems at the other end. No reason why we shouldn't be looking to win the 3 points.
  10. Nice to see both the young full backs score today. Hopefully give them a confidence boost. The young ones have showed up the experienced pros this season.
  11. Josh Magennis. Even though he's on the bench too.
  12. Kelly has been exposed far too much this season. Mainly because he hasn't had a natural left midfielder ahead of him. Kelly, Naismith and Mcginn have had excellent seasons. Can't be too harsh on the youngsters, especially as this is their first season in the first team and it's McGinn's first full season in the first team.
  13. Against a John Hughes side too. If we play half as good as that tomorrow we will win by 5.
  14. We might have the best defensive record of the bottom 5 but the way we concede our goals is laughable. We don't have a spine to the team when Goodwin isn't playing. McGregor and McAusland aren't solid enough to hold it together without Goodwin. Love him or hate him we missed him on Tuesday and the last 10mins v United. Killer passes in the final third are a glaring problem too. Gowser bang out of form and no supply to Thommo. It's easy to see why we are struggling. Hopefully Teale is ready to be involved more now. Missed him badly
  15. I wonder if Dumbarton fans were seething when they spotted Paul McGinn suited up at our cup final last season.
  16. That was StJohnstones B team last night and we were totally out classed by them.Scary.
  17. He isn't our saviour but he isn't even getting a chance. We are failing to score goals and he is another option from the bench. Magennis was less than hopeless tonight and that's being polite to the guy. If Thommo doesn't score we don't score.
  18. The problem is Magennis is not a centre forward. His goal scoring record proves this. He is a good squad player who can fill in a few positions. Campbell is a predator with bags of pace, something we have lacked of late.
  19. Any news on Kello? Hopefully not too serious. The League Cup win doesn't matter anymore.Fact is we have won less than a game a month since winning the damn thing and thats including a 2 month summer break and a couple of games against lower league opposition. Can any of the Danny fans give me any reason to keep him in a job? Is this acceptable? Another honking performance. Only positive this season has been the young boys come through but can we rely on them to drag us out of this? Kelly was ripped apart tonight. McGinn,Mclean,Newton and McGowan were invisible. Magennis is not a centre forward. We clearly missed Goodwin tonight, for all his faults we missed a leader on the park. McGregor was the only player to get pass marks for me and even thats at a push. Luckily for us ICT are half the team with Hughes in charge. Even at that I expect them to get a comfortable win on saturday.
  20. I think now we should be looking at this as a option. It doesn't take a tactical genius to work out what is wrong. The players will know best what system suits them, it's clearly not the current one. Let T&T take over just until the end of the season. Gary seems to be finished now, he can do the sideline stuff whilst letting Thompson do his thing in front of goal. At least you'd have players playing in the correct positions, back to basics and a much happier dressing room. If we finish in the play-offs so what, we are heading that way anyway.
  21. He was expecting a 50/50 challenge mid air and the guy pulls out. What could he of done to not collide into the boy? If you go into a 50/50 and pull out last second your going to get hurt.
  22. If everyone was fully fit and on form --------------------------Kello-------------------------- ---Naismith-----Goodwin---McGregor--Kelly-------- ---------------Newton-------McLean---------------------- -------Teale---------McGowan-------McGinn---------- --------------------Thompson---------------------------- Sadly Newton,Gowser, Thompson, Teale and Naismith aren't either fit or on form. Can't comment on DJ DJ but i'd love to see him fully fit, its harsh to judge him just now.
  23. I was a Danny fan and am still hoping he turns this around but I just can't see it happening. He was given extra time to turn it around after our horrific start to the season, deservedly so after the cup win, then we hit a good patch. Sadly we are back in the same position and it's just not working out. Really can't see where our next 3 points are coming from. We aren't even playing good football any more, it's mainly punts up to a knackered Thompson who has had no service for weeks now. The thing is though if we were to sack him who do we bring in? This is the most awkward time of the season for a club like ours. I don't agree with the personal abuse though. Some of the stuff I have read on social media sites is pretty poor. No need for it. On that note it might get messy up in Dingwall if we take a pasting. There was a lot fans arguing with each other near the end of MacPherson's regime.
  24. So your unhappy with the total lack of ambition yet you wouldn't mind us being relegated . It would be a complete disaster. Even though the play offs are now included it would still take at least a couple of years to get back up. Look at Falkirk. They got this top 6 promised land bullshit in their heads and look what happened to them. Got rid of Hughes and then plummeted. Whilst things aren't perfect we have to remember the flip side.It could be a lot worse.
  25. When he signed for us he was just over a serious injury and didn't have any sort of pre season under his belt. The management would of known this before he signed. He needed a run of 10-15 games to get his confidence, fitness and form back. Sadly for him Kelly was keeping him out the team It just didn't work out .
