  1. Sadly all those empty seats in the Main Stand seem to vindicate the decision to hand over the Family Stand. Full of optimism I tried to buy a Main Stand ticket last night but none were available on the website. I suppose that’s down to all the loyal ST holders who choose to boycott these games.
  2. Shame the Green mob appear to be on the verge of taking Taylor from Kilmarnock. I guess we’ll be looking for a replacement left back.
  3. No, I meant a padded seat. Online price is £29. For comparison, I’m staying in Glasgow this weekend and 3 of us (2 full price adults + 1 student) are going to Cineworld at Silverburn tonight for a total cost of £31. I know Gus didn’t start the “go to the pictures” comments but whoever did certainly had a point.
  4. I just tried to buy an old man’s seat in the main stand. £29!!!!!! Surely this is a misprint? Looks like I’ll be saving myself a 180 mile round trip and watch this on TV.
  5. Got a text from an Aberdeen mate last night saying Cosgrove was in club up there. Watch this space.
  6. With the squad we’re assembling, Top4 looks unnecessarily pessimistic. Mine’s a large malt if you’re buying 🥃
  7. I didn’t say he did although Jim Goodwin did say in his post-match interview that Cammy had dislocated his shoulder.
  8. Cammy is obviously a quick healer. Or maybe we are so short of defenders he is playing with his shoulder in a sling?
  9. I’ve not read all these posts. Have we re-signed Reilly?
  10. Exactly. Who does BB think he is??? Someone who has seen the guy play versus YouTube specialists. What a nerve.
  11. Careful Shull, I think you’ve posted under the wrong alias.
  12. “I’m blaming the players & coaching staff collectively.” I struggle with this. Do we really blame the players for being not good enough to beat lower league opposition or does the blame lie with the club for presenting the manager with these players? Or with the manager for failing to send out a team capable of beating lower league opposition? From the games I’ve seen this season I’m not convinced the players were to blame.
  13. Phew. Glad that pesky League Cup is out of the way, now we can look forward to real football success.
  14. We know this is no country for old men.
  15. What? The forum has always been going downhill? Or there are only a dozen active participants?
  16. Maybe but I’d rather win 1-0 than lose 6-7.
  17. Unfair on Erhahon I think. There is a decent footballer in there but he is being roasted every game at left back. Interesting to see the EK keeper targeting him with every kick today. Give the lad a rest or play him in his real position.
  18. Especially worrying that he says in his interview we need to strengthen upfront. I would think our priority is to strengthen the defence.
  19. Maybe that’s why this forum is going downhill and only has about a dozen active participants. Well maybe half a dozen if you take all the aliases into account.
  20. Painful. I can’t think of a single Saints player who earned pass marks today. The bench shows the frailty of our squad and the amount of rebuilding required. Sadly, given our financial position, I doubt if the greatest manager in the world can turn this shambles round. Ricky - thanks for the ticket but I’ll pass next time.
  21. Really poor stuff but I honestly think the pitch has a lot to do with it. Mullen should have taken one of his two chances and Kyle came close. Other than that, nothing.
