You said Jolson “is still revered”. I believe that to be a lie and you have done nothing to make me think otherwise. The positive comments you have found from your Google search are from a time when it would have been career limiting at best for a black spokesperson to say anything different. Years ago I had a boss who always had to try and be the cleverest person in the room. I am cancelling my DD tonight. Still, and always will be, a dyed in the wool Buddie but something ain’t right. My only regret is I now find myself falling into step with a certain pipe fitter.

I don’t blame him for looking out for the best offer and wish him good luck in finding a decent gig. Probably continue his career in the Scottish Championship, the thought of Ross taking him to Sunderland is laughable.

I think both strips look fine but I’d be happy watching the buds if they wore pound shop string vests. Frankly I couldn’t give a toss what this strip looks like although if these designs discourage anyone over the age of 19 wearing a football strip when not actually playing football then so much the better.

Stephen McGinn was fantastic today. Good to see him applaud when Mullen was announced MoM. Really wish Smith had squared to the unmarked Reilly instead of taking the difficult shot. Gavin is a superb goal scorer and just needs one to get his confidence back. Pleasing day.

That was awful, maybe the pressure of being top of the league shouldn’t be underestimated. If we play this poorly on Friday there is every risk United will get a point.
