  1. Was in JD in silverburn today. Still no idea if or when they might get the kids tops in.
  2. Tomorrow is my daughter's first league game as a season ticket holder. Looking forward to the saints convincing her she's made the right choice
  3. Decent signing. A bit more experience around a pretty young squad. Agree with the others on here, Webster and Shankland should see us in pretty good shape. Incredible how different Saturday's line up will be compared to the first home leage game last season
  4. Got my new shirt today from JD in Silverburn, but no kids top for my daughter, and they're not expecting any kids tops in the foreseeable future. Saying it's all down to the manufacturing error. Strangely no such probs with Real Madrid, Barcelona , arsenal or Liverpool shirts
  5. Renewed this morning and finally convinced my daughter to get one too. Now we just need Morton at home first game and this new era is under way
  6. Good news that this is sorted early and he has the time to recruit who he wants for next season. Welcome aboard Ian
  7. Great news that we have successfully won another appeal. Perhaps now Sportscene's experts , who with the benefit of all the replays still maintain it was a red card, will admit to being utter muppets
  8. The team are full of fight and heart these days. GT has got a great response out of the players, and as Bigjerseybuddie says, Meatball was top class with ripping it out of Ciftci
  9. We used AMG builders in October when we were doing our kitchen. Showed up on time, did a good job. Based in Paisley too
  10. Welcome aboard. Hope to see you knocking in the goals to get us moving again
  11. Nervous about it but agree we need to give them the opportunity to prove themselves. What's the alternative? Things staying as they are isn't any good. I'm not too hung up on the "they don't know scottish football" argument. As others have pointed out, TC knows it inside out but was still disastrous. I'll keep an open mind. We already have a tough few months ahead to stay up, but this has to be about more than that
  12. For me, I have to say no, I wouldn't want him at my club. There are no types of rape, there is rape and that is what he has been convicted of. I could not bring myself to support someone who has done this, and I would never again feel that I could brig my daughter with me to the game. I don't claim to know all the details about the case, but the fact remains he was convicted, and rules him out
  13. Says something about that particular official that two of his decisions got overturned on the same day. I used to think he had something against Saints in particular - Boruc's assault on Dargo, Goodwin's Penalty / Booking in the LC semi, his determination to abandon the Ross county game when we were two up, and this, but chances are it's not personal, it's is standard level of performance
  14. Outstanding. Did not see that coming
  15. Not seen this confirmed yet, but hope that it's true. Spirit has taken a real battering this term
  16. Great result today. Especially pleased with a late winner. After one at Firhill and the late equaliser at Pittodrie, digging in for the full 90 minutes is a good habit to get into
  17. An unexpected but fantastic bit of news. Funny how I'm instantly much more positive about the new season
  18. City fan at work also saying Plummer is the one coming to us. Doesn't know much about him though
  19. Menorca four weeks time. little villa with it's own pool. Can't wait
  20. Must admit I was sure he was going, so this is a pleasant surprise.
  21. Last I heard she was still in service, operates in Malta these days
  22. Hope it works out for him. Don't think he'll ever need to pay for a pint in Paisley for the rest of his days
