Teale and Goodwin staying on as player coaches happy with this maybe a bit surprised that Thompson wasn't asked to be player coach but possible see him take over as captain? Need to get behind the team and hopefully its a good move for the buddies.

Kelly and Naismith both signed new deals recently and will be at the club next season bar big offers. Jim Goodwin deserves a new deal he has been very important to us this year. Turning our back on loan deals would be absolute insanity, Connor Newton scored the winning goal in the league cup final and ever though he hasn't been consistent this season has still been an important player, same with Paul last season. Wylde has not had enough game time to say he's been one of the best bits of business we will see that next season We can aim for a top 3 absolutely but then again we could also 'aim' to win the champions league couldn't we?

I would be disappointed if we sold Naismith or kelly this summer especially after signing long term deals. If DVZ goes we will only have four defenders at the club, no reason McGinn couldn't come in and get regular football if he performs.

Would take him back for sure. We need defenders and I'm imagining DVZ is off

I only wish we had this level of competition in all areas of the park its great having this kind of headache for first choice keeper in the run in. I think I would go with a fit Kello especially for the game on Saturday, Dilo is one for the future and I would get him signed up 3 maybe even 4 year deal if he's willing but one mistake at this point of the season could be crucial for us and confidence shattering for him. Best to go with experience IMO.

Not sacking a manager thats only got a few months to run on his contract after our form this season is an embarrasment in itself.

I dont want us to be fannying about in the play off spot, he should have been gone a long time and nothing has happened. No way he should still be in charge even for Kilmarnock game.

I would generally say if we loose against Kilmarnock next week but I don't think IF is really needed. If Danny Lennon is not sacked after todays game then I think a demonstration needs to be shown that he should not be the St Mirren manager anymore.

Anyone know how long for this time? Same injury as before? We've really missed him this season since his injury.

Not sure that would be a great move for him, think a return to St Mirren would be better. Get on the blower Danny match his wage ;)

Would love Newton to stay like anyone else and think it'll be interesting to see if anyone else leaves. Is Barron actually still here, surely he must be close to recovering now or it simply ain't going to happen? What about Teale how much longer is he out for? Would you give him a new contract if he doesn't trigger the pre agreed number of games this season?

I think to be fair to Gus I would have taken Craig Dargo on as well at that time, he was a great wee player and was very unfotunate he got injured and was never the same. He was a proven goal scorer at ICT and came with a big reputation, I remember a lot of people being really happy that he signed.

So our brilliant club has been for sale for what seems like forever my thinking is, with some very promising young players secured to long term contracts, with the club starting to perform well in the SPFL, with no debt, with great facilities, great fans, a major cup win..... Would you want to sell St Mirren?
