Aquay Saint
1 Springsteen - '85 St James' Park Newcastle (Born in USA tour) 3.5 hours, the best live act in the world ever 2. Peter Gabriel - '83 Glasgow Apollo on PLays Live Tour 3. Status Quo - 1983 at Apollo also - just before Alan Lancaster and John Coughlin left and they became the Chas n Dave of rock. Back then they rocked. 4. Crowded House - any gig but also the Finn Bros at the Renfrew Ferry 5. Travis - about 3 years ago at SECC. Crap venue and even though I like their music, didn't think they would have been as good live - lots of stage presence and tightas a nun's chaff. Really surprised me..........unlike Tom Petty who was the complete opposite live- like watching paint dry (even though I desparately wanted him to be great)
No Ninjas
Dunno about the best ones, but the worst were The Wonder Stuff at the Magnum in Irvine. The support band were The Kinky Machine, they were SHOCKING...
