ALBIONSAINT
So Labour want to build 1.5 million new homes. How will they square that with net zero? Given that cement production accounts for 8% of co2 emissions? Make the houses out of recycled paper?

shull
Plenty of leaves on the ground presently. Autumn is the reason. Always strong winds and heavy rain in this particular Season of the year. It is normal. No need to try and scare the general public by naming the storms and dishing out red and yellow warnings. It's been identical weather this time of the year for as long as I remember. Nowt to with Global Boiling and the Climate Emergency.

However, it's nonsense. There's no evidence to suggest the presence of the stuffed toy is anti-Semitic and making a fuss about it only draws people's attention to the history of the octopus metaphor. It smacks of paranoia and censorship. Was she actually 'forced' to take it down, though? Or simply asked to? I get what you're trying to indicate here but sweeping statements are usually flawed.

ALBIONSAINT
I hope they are using LEZ compliant transportation to get the 95% of our plastic waste to the north of England and Europe, otherwise the CO2 emissions will be through the roof 😅

Good for him although if he's that concerned about people who really aren't "poor" he could have donated his cash to better causes. 😉
