Would You Vote Labour Ever Again?

And this from the cretin who bandies about the term "Natsi" about others willy-nilly, you couldn't make it up.

If any schoolchildren in the 22nd century are looking for historical examples of 21st century narrow-mindedness, here you are kids, fill your boots

To call Dickie "single minded" is an exaggeration as well as giving him FAR too much credit!

Oh FFS. "Interesting" and "Billy Bragg" really don't go together.

It's only two years ago he was renouncing his socialist past, his fighting and singing for the miners and claiming he was now a Liberal Democrat voter. The man has desperately been trying to find so way to make his life relevant again and quite frankly I can't see the point of asking him his opinion on anything.

I wouldn't waste a moment of my time reading or watching a thing that fanny says. I've got so much contempt for Bragg that I'd rather read the pish you write instead.

Can you see the contradiction? I can.

It merely highlights that Dicko doesn't really have an opinion, or relevant take on any given debate. he simply trolls t'internet for quotes etc and posts them as his thoughts without having the nounce to sense check when they conflict each other....

In short just yir auld fashioned wind-up merchant, a poor man's.... sorry very poor man's James Whale

There's no contradiction. The man was a droning voice in the 80's singing shite lyrics to the same tune over and over again and somehow becoming some icon for tone deaf socialists. Somehow he got himself onto Question Time - one of my must watch TV programmes - where he was an absolute car crash and by the end of the show he'd admitted he would be voting for the Lib Dems. Since then I've no idea what the man has done and I've no interest in finding out. I presume that these days he's dumped the heavy political rhetoric and is now singing songs about sunny afternoons and love all to the one dreary tune that's carried him all his life.

I have no interest in him, and no wish to hear his opinion on anything. He's a fanny, struggling to find relevance again and I can only assume he must be a really cheap date if his name keeps cropping up these days.

As Natsis like to tell us all the time this isn't about voting on party lines and there aren't enough Turkey's willing to vote for Christmas

Of course they do as the whole outcome will depend on how many traditional labour voters will vote yes in spite of their parties stance. The tory vote in Scotland is an irrelevance in any branch of politics. You can't deride the very people on one hand then rely on them to preserve the union on the other. If you value the union that much then like it or not you are pretty much relying on Labour voters following party lines and that must stick in the craw of any Scottish tory. What a Scottish Tory thinks or votes will matter not a jot.

Other nationalists have been keen to tell us that it's not about Party Politics and that it's not about Alex Salmond, They then usually bang on about how independence would mean Scotland wouldn't have David Cameron and George Osbourne running the country. It's nice to see you relying on a different, more imaginative route. This time Labour voters shouldn't vote for the Union because it means they'd be on the same side as the Tories. I love this "new" form of politics that's being pledged for an Independent Scotland. Natsi's right enough.....Joseph Goebbels would be proud.

In fairness to Labour (and they are the only party I've never voted for over the years), they brought in tax credits and ensured millions were lifted out of poverty overnight.

They failed to follow this through by then insisting that employers paid a wage their workers could actually live on. If they had done that tax credits would no longer be needed but this can still be rectified.

It'll be hard to forgive them lying about student tuition fees, their weird obsession with going to war and their equal obsession with putting down Scots and telling us we can't be trusted to run our own affairs. They have a few issues to sort out before I'd vote for them for the first time never mind again.

The only parties I can never see myself voting for would be the likes of BNP, UKIP or any lunatic fringe parties like the Tories.
