I am ready to field off all the "they are nothing but a tribute act" comments! met up with B&W Army regulars in The Griffin beforehand. There is a sight you wont see often. We had to get the St Mirren season elephant in the room out the way pretty quick! then BOOM...what fun

E=Mc2
I have a Lynyrd Skynyrd Free Bird picture disc somewhere. Must look for it and buy a turntable.
pozbaird
The last album of theirs I bought was 'Street Survivors' way back in the day on vinyl. Haven't kept up with the modern line-up. Is Gary Rossington the only original member? Great band though. Every time I hear the opening bars of 'Sweet Home Alabama'.... Classic. Edit: Any Skynyrd fans checked out the British band 'The Temperence Movement'? Brilliant debut album IMHO. farmer john
yes, Gary is the only original now but main guitarist Ricky Medlock played with the original line up way back inn early 70s and lad singer Johnny Van Zandt is younger bro of Ronnie who was killed in the plane crash. Others members of the band there for many many years. Same look, same sound...the real Lynyrd Skynyrd experience....good enough for me!
