melmac Posted November 6, 2015 Report Share Posted November 6, 2015 I agree its too late now. Was up recently getting new glasses from Blacks in New Street it was nice to see the town busy. Walking down the high street towards the cross looking over to the town hall and abbey I said to myself what a good looking town. There is not many towns in Scotland that look so good. Just a pity they covered up the Cart with concrete. Imagine a river running through the centre of your town and covering it up , somebody must have got a bung for that Aye, only in Paisley would they concrete over a river. They should be demolishing that carbuncle and allowing the shops to go elsewhere in the town - would probably make a mint as well in reclaimed Safeway trollies. It truly is one of the most miserable dumps i`ve ever been in. Its like New Cumnock on an Epic scale. The only place worse than Bradford is Hull. & Barrow & Stockton & Coventry & Walsall & Grimsby But apart from them ! & Greenock & Portsmouth.
