First "best game" was England v West Germany, world cup 1970. Soon after the Brazil v Italy final, football from another planet at the time. I'll leave it at that............................for now. I thought the Italy v West Germany semi-final was the best game I ever saw and then the final. Brazil were just unbeatable that day and it was a great pity that their FA took the defeats in the next few world cups as a message that the only way to win was to be big, strong and cynical.
